Part 38 : Count Down

In a room there were two bodies lying on the floor lifeless. One of the body moved slightly and he slowly sat down holding his head looking here and there. The person is none other than manik. He adjusted his vision to see in a room that is not so modern but was small and has light to see what all around.

He looked his right side to see another body lying on floor. He reached near that body and looked to see cabir. He took him in his arms and patted his cheeks. Cabir slightly groaned in pain and slowly opened his eyes to see cabir. He immediately sat down and hugged him asking 'are you ok ?'

C: manik are you ok ? And where is this place?

M: I'm fine cabir. U ?

C: I'm also fine.

Manik then remembered that they were in mall and was searching nandhini then they met with accident. He began to panic thinking about nandhu his jaan. Cabir too remembered that and was tensed.

C: manik princess where is she ? And what happened to us ?

M: cabir I think we are kidnapped.

C: (shouts ) what ? Now how will we find princess.

M: (helpless) I don't know cabir. I hope vo tik ho

C : relax manik. Kuch nahi hoga hamari princess ko. For that first we should get out from this place. Be string manik. We should find a way to escape.

Manik simply nods.

M: (thinks ) baby please be safe. Don't worry your mani will come soon to you. Don't be scared baby just trust me.

At the same time in an isolated room we can see a person lying unconscious on floor. The room has only dim light. The person slowly whispers

N: (Whispers ) mani......

The person was nandhini. She slowly sat down and got scared to see an unknown place which is almost dark. She rembered someone forcefully took her from the mall after making her unconscious. She was thinking about mani and was crying silently.

After sometime she slowly composed herself and stand up with difficulty. She looked here and there for a way to escape but she couldn't find any door or window. She sat there again dejected and started crying hugging her knees.

On other side in fab 5 mansion all expect mananbir were sitting and talking causually.

Mu : yaar yeh manik , cabir and angel ab tak kyun nahi aayi ?

A: relax mukti. They will be on their way. And you know na how is doll if she saw something like gol gappa or ice cream then surely she will make them buy for her so just chill then will be fine.

Others agreed with her but mukti was not satisfied bit she shrugged her thoughts and concentrated on what they were saying.

Manik and cabir were still sitting and was thinking about their princess.

M: (composing himself ) cabir we can't sit here idle. Let's find out a way. There must be a way.

Cabir agrees and they tried to go from door bit that was not appropriate. So they looked for other way. They find a window which was at high but they decided to give it a try. So they both was trying every possible way to reach the window and at last cabir caught hold of the window pane but suddenly a voice stopped them and he fall down to floor.

V : good try Mr. Dhawan and Mr. Malhotra. Why you guys stopped. Arey go na I know you can easily escape from here. I promise I will not block you guys. Just go

But they didn't move and was staring the speaker from the voice came.

V : kya hua nahi jaana. Arey just go. Did you guys forgot you guys want to save your life na your nandhini so what are you waiting for go.

M: ( angrily ) we will not go. Just shut up and tell me where is my nandhini. I had a doubt that nandhini will be here only but after your bak was I conformed you only kidnapped my baby. So just tell me where the hell is my nandhini or else I will kill you .

V : ohh relax angry young man. You have brain. You guessed right. Nandhini us with e but you know what you will not see her again alive. Yes you heard right she is dying. So Mr. Manik malhotra if you can save her. She is near you bit you can't reach her. Do what ever you want but you can't save her.

M $ c : (angry ) you....

The same time we can see the room where nandhini is kept was filled with some poisonous fog and she was having difficulty in breathing. She started coughing. She got to know it is some poison so she hurriedly took her scarf that was in her neck and covered her face.

Then also she was having difficulty. She was trying to save herself but suddenly the temperature of the room began to less down and she started to feel cold. She is sensitive to cold do she can't handle that for much time. She kept her knees together and hugged her tightly as much as she could. Slowly slowly she was drifting to darkness. Yet she was trying to make her steady.

Other side Manik and cabir were feeling helpless fear anger etc.

V: shout up. Now your baby will be feeling too cold. You know na Manik she us sensitive to cold so now what will happen to you. Ok if by any chance she tolerate the cold then too she can't save herself from the dangerous gas that is in her room. So she has only no no you has only 30 minutes to rescue her. If you can protect your life.

M: no I will kill you. Tell me where is she? What you want from me i will give you anything you asking but pls give me my nandhu back pls.

He said crying.

V : you know I feel very happy seeing you pleading. I don't want anything. I got what I needed . I want to see you helpless crying pleading. I want to see dying with out any physical wound. Just like now.

So Once again you have only 30 minutes no 25 minutes exactly. Your count down starts now tik tok tik......all the best manik.

By saying the voice fade away. Screen freezes on manik and cabir scared face in one side and nandhini' s face in other side.
