Vaughn POV
I'm excited to go home. I really missed my Haileybaby. I'm so tired attending stupid gathering. Kung gugustuhin ko lang, I want to stay with my love but I also had to fulfill my duties. I already knew these will happen if I sign contracts. Now, I lost my freedom.
"Oh my God! Miss are you okay?" natingin ako sa likuran nang napalakas ang boses ng crew ng plane na sinasakyan ko.
Nakaalalay siya sa isang babaeng pasaherong namumutla at mukhang nahimatay bigla habang pabalik sa upuan. She must be having breathing difficulties. Ilang sandali lang ay narinig ko naman ang boses ng isa pang babae. She's probably the girl's mom.
"Elizabeth! What's going on here?" sabi pa nito.
I didn't took the business class so I'm stuck with the common people, so unpeaceful. I'm still sleep deprived. Hailey told me not to spend a lot on my travel so here I am pathetically listening to her.
"Who are you? Get off your hand from my daughter," biglang sigaw ulit ng babae kaya't iritable akong napalingon. "How dare you touch my daughter!"
May lalaking papisil-pisil sa mga braso at kamay ng babae na siya sigurong ikinagalit ng nanay. I was surprised as well but I managed to keep calm.
"If there's a stranger to this young lady between us then perhaps it is you," sagot ng lalaki.
"I am her mother!"
Nagsilingunan na sa kanila ang mga nakasakay sa eroplano. They were really creating a big fuss. Some even took videos. Sinuway naman sila ng mga crew but some are really stubborn.
"Be her mother then," sabi pa ng lalaki habang nilalagay sa tenga ng babaeng inaalalayan ng crew.
Nang matapos gawin ng lalaki 'yon ay humarap siya do'n sa nanay ng babae. But he got a slap instead.
"You arrogant man! We don't even know you and you disrespect me," may galit pang sabi ng nanay.
"I apologize then," seryosong sagot naman ng lalaki.
"Too late for that. I'm gonna sue you for harassing my daughter!"
I don't want to step in but I just can't. Hailey's really a bad influence to me. She's infecting me with her good side. I'm not supposed to act like this. Lumapit ako sa kanila. The man looked at me but there's no expression that I could convey from his eyes.
"I'm sorry for butting in but this man is-"
Naputol ang sasabihin ko nang biglang nagsalita ang lalaki.
"Your daughter has a flight anxiety. More likely an aviophobia actually. You probably don't know but she's really having this kind of disorder," paliwanag pa ng lalaki.
Napailing na lamang ako sa tinuran niya. But the mother just raised her brow at him.
"Why would I even believe a stranger like you?" iritable namang sagot ng nanay.
"Sorry for disturbing your flight Doc. Thank you so much for your quick response," sabi naman ng kakarating lang na head ata ng mga attendants.
"Doc?" biglang nagbago ang boses ng nanay ng babae.
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience Madam," paghingi ng pasensya ng attendant. "May emergency rin kasi sa business class kaya nashort kami sa medical staff. By the way, he's Dr. G,if you could still remember the pandemic last seven years. He's one of the researcher of the vaccine."
Natawa naman ulit ang nanay ng babae at tiningnan ang lalaki.
"So you are this arrogant because you think you're a hero? Hah! That was already in past. You're no longer needed."
