Chapter Nineteen

Dong Hua

Time in the crystal land was the most best times of my existence XiaoBai is really enchanting and very funny, I love her childlike nature it's infectious. I can see it her eyes that she thinks I have self control whenever she pulls her seductive stunts but she doesn't understand how hard it is and the fact that it's still too early, I was sitting in my palace meditating not because I wanted too but because I didn't want to think about her
Otherwise I will find myself in that fox cave declaring my hand, I wanted to write the proposal but I didn't think it was enough. Things like these needed to be conducted in person, she's not a trade she will be with my wife and I want her to be safe and secure as I was meditating my powers started getting chaotic and the power stream was beginning to light up then suddenly it exploded, I felt the bond of our powers connecting and our spiritual powers being one but what surprised me the most was my birth mark which is my spirit animal, attached itself to her I could feel it spreading on her back. When I opened my eyes everything was glowing and then I felt it her fury, she got angry to the where she activated the powers without the body absorbing it. Oh XiaoBai what shall I do with you? Do you realise what you have done, now that the powers had been activated it only a matter of time till she starts the transformation. XiaoBai's anger triggered the power connection while it was still attaching itself to her and because XiaoBai also has my blood in her bloodstream the process intensified, and now she will lose her Fox magic and her blood will become like mine then she will ascend and I'm scared that she won't be ready. My ascension is not like the rest of the immortals when I ascend I have to under go forty eight lighting strikes and thirty eight thunderbolts of fire and because XiaoBai hadn't ascended to high goddess just yet I'm deeply concerned that she will go through all of these at once. Her anger even triggered the fiery shield which appears in case you might hurt someone who means no harm to you, it's more for protecting the other person than protecting the owner. XiaoBai why are you so angry? What are they doing to you, I waited for a couple of minutes finally she calmed down and the power lines dimmed but our spiritual powers were much brighter than before, A perfect match. Which I found it impossible since XiaoBai wasn't fated to me in the beginning I need to find out how did this happen, our spiritual powers were bonding although they were bright right now I wondered what they would look like if she was next to me.
It was a good time to go to the fox cave, I think she has waited enough if anything she might actually just start writing her own marriage proposal, I find it funny that she tried to get out of three marriages so hard but she's very impatient to receive mine."

Love and envy are a dangerous combination for a person to feel and can be deadly if the person you want doesn't feel the same, but it is said you must fight for what you want and it isn't said that you shouldn't fight dirty. The thought made me smile, sitting down on the forbidden land of the heavens I mixed mud and water creating a human two human figures shaping them properly I bring them to life. "Master." They said in unison and I smiled. "I want you to kill Dong Hua dijun for me and whoever succeeds I will give them immortality." I smirked evilly let the fun begin. I informed my puppets of everything they needed to know and told them to do whatever it takes.

XiaoBai
The little banquet had been going on for the past three days and honestly it felt like time wasn't moving, I was feeling anxious and flustered but more than anything I need his majesty. There is this strange heat I have been feeling but it comes and goes and it felt intense, I had felt it when his majesty came here but as soon as he touched me it went away I wasn't cranky or anything like that I was just in a bad mood from not seeing him. I walked around trying to get away from the eyes of the people so I can try cloud jumping to heaven just so I can get just one look,  I made it to a safe zone and I cloud jumped and surprisingly it went smooth landing in front of the heavens gate, the guards block my way. "You're not allowed in here." I was confused since when was I banned in heaven. "I'm here to see his majesty." but they were not moving, luckily the third prince Yuka appeared. "Let her in." And the guards made way for me. "Third prince." I greeted and bowed he gave me a childlike smile. " I don't think you should bow to otherwise your husband, might punish me." Hearing the words husband made feel giddy. "Forgive me but why have you come here this late." I looked at him and felt that I could trust him with the truth. "I missed him, I haven't seen him in three days." He grinned at me. "His majesty has been busy, actually now that I think about he has been acting weird." Yuka said looking at me. "Uh....what do you mean weird?" I hope it has nothing to do with the wedding. "He has been looking for ancient books about fate." He chuckled. "Then again when is dijun never weird." His words make me smile, he walked with me until we reached the garden. "He was here the last time I saw him." He bowed and left, I walked into the garden but there was no sign of him. I decided to check in the palace but on the opposite end at the lotus Pavillion I heard a woman speaking, it was the name she called that caught my attention so I followed the voice and there he was standing in the middle of the clearing the woman had her arms around him. "Dong Hua." She purred and I was shocked. "You love me don't you?" He lifted up his hand and caressed her face then planted a soft kiss on her lips, my heart shattered and died right then and there the pain I was feeling knocked me down to my feet and I continued as I watched them kissing each other. Hot tears trickled down my face and I got on my feet and ran away on my way out I bumped into Yuka, he held me to steady me. "Is everything alright? Did you find him?" At the thought of him my heart constricted painfully, I didn't even have the energy to even answer I nodded my head and wiped away my tears and started running again. Why would he do this to me? Am I that stupid to believe all he said me, my heart is bleeding,
Dong Hua why have you changed your mind, have you decided that I'm not good enough for you or you were just playing me from the start, your majesty will we still get married or did you change your mind. I was nearing the peach groove so I fixed my face and put on a smile on my face, I will wait until our wedding day and if we get married I will forgive you for this but your majesty if you don't show up I will die, I will kill myself in your name and cut all ties with you.

Dong Hua

I was reading in the library Pavillion in heavenly lord when I felt this heart wrenching pain, it paralyzed me for a minute I couldn't breathe and my body ache all over I closed my eyes and XiaoBai's spiritual power was dimming to a red colour. My XiaoBai what happened to you now, just as I was about to walk out another wave of pain knocked to the ground and I spat blood. Heavenly lord came in and he was terrified, he held me up. "dijun what's wrong." I couldn't say anything the pain was excruciating, just then Yuka came in. "Oh you old man what did you do to Bai Fengjiu." He was glaring and I was confused. "XiaoBai?" I questioned. "Yes, she came here to see you and she left with tears in her eyes, she looked so hurt." Why are you so hurt XiaoBai, " I didn't see her, I have been in the library Pavillion since the early hours of the morning." It was Yuka's turns to look confused. "No I saw you at the garden earlier before Bai Fengjiu got here." His forehead creased. "Yuka I don't go to the garden unless XiaoBai is here." What is going on! "He is telling the truth he has been here since early hours, he has been trying to find solutions on how to held Bai Fengjiu ascend." In Heavenly lords mind he thought I meant normal ascending he had no idea that XiaoBai is becoming like me. I stood up. "I'm going to the fox cave, I'm sure the banquet is over I will carry on here when I'm done." Yuka wanted to come with me but I told him to stay, I needed time alone with XiaoBai.
