"don't take on too much nephew, you're still just 20" he said looking at me in that way he does when he's thinking about something
"if I don't who will uncle? " I asked staring back at him and he sighed.
"why is the lovely lady kiara not with you today?" uncle asked changing topics, cheeky grin on his face
" she has elite training now " I answered automatically before raising an eyebrow
" how do you even know that uncle? " I asked skeptically.
Uncle had an innocent look on his face but I knew better
" you can call it a hunch " he said eyes shining
"I see, this hunch wouldn't happen to my best friend now would it? " I asked eyebrows raised.
Uncles eyes crinkled with amusement
" whatever do you mean nephew?" he asked and I rolled my eyes.
"what are you up to uncle " I deadpanned.
"I could ask you the same nephew " he said and my eyebrows probably disappeared into my hair line.
"what?? " I asked but he's eyes were still shining with amusement.
"you let her walk out on you " he said and I looked at him, confusion on my face,
"that's because.." I started, Uncle waited eyebrow raised, same amusement on his face
" you also let her make eye contact with you " uncle continued
"what am I supposed to do, punish her for looking at me? What are you trying to say uncle? "
"according to perian law, yes nephew" he stated and I was beyond confused about this conversation.
"I've never done that " I said looking at him like he had grown two heads.
"that's because nobody ever dared nephew " uncle said eyes intense and I stared back at him
