I breathe in heavily, finally seeing the water fall come into view, after running over here like a mad woman.

Azumi had sent a kid to come get me, that there was an emergency, and to come alone.

I stop short at the sight of my brother pacing around frantically and my eyes narrow

"where's the emergency? Are you okay azumi??"

He only seems to notice I'm there when I speak and he looks up at me, visibly nervous

"did you come alone? "

What the??

"azumi what's wrong, what's the emergency? " I ask very confused but he keeps pacing

"tell me you came alone kia " he says and I feel myself starting to panic at his behavior

"I did, did something happen?, did you kill someone? " he actually pauses in his musing to give me a look, as if I'm the one threatening to dig a hole through the ground.

"don't be ridiculous kia" he says and resumes pacing and I scoff

"I'm being ridiculous? You called me out from my shift at the academy, so you better show me where the freaking fire is " I say getting impatient and fixing him with a glare.

He calms down alittle and breathes in,

I come up with a number of situations in my head but none explain why my brother looks like a bundle of nerves, and I'm about to hit him with questions again when he finally speaks.

"I want to propose to tera " he says looking nervous but there's a dazed look on his face and my jaw drops.

I can tell how serious he is by the look on his face

He looks at me expectantly and I finally find my words

"you're not joking,  oh thank heavens finally " I say, smile spreading across my face and I move to hug him.

He hugs me back

"is this why you wanted me to come alone, cuz you knew I'd get Tera? " I ask and he nods

"kiara I've been wanting too for days and it's been on my mind but I don't even know how to start so I decided to tell you but -"

"why didn't you just wait to tell me this at home?" I ask

"Tera would definitely be around, I had to result to drastic measures " he says voice serious and I really try not to laugh

"I need your help, how do I propose to her " he asks looking so nervous that it's endearing, but I give him a blank look

"you have zero ideas about proposing to the woman you've been with for 5 years? " I ask and he glares at me

"you know how nervous I get kia HELP me " he says hands flying everywhere and I don't even try to stop the laughter now,

He just glares at me and I sober up at how nervous he looks

"you know she'll say yes right? shes just as gone for you as you are for her " I say softly and he looks at me eyes big and nods.

"but I want to make it special" he finally says and I nod in understanding

"that's why you have me big brother " I say grinning and he sighs in relief before hugging me
