The arena is crowded and filled to the brim.

I stand in the shadows of the balcony, eyes taking in the scene infront of me.

The north, south, east and west are in the same place for the first time in a century, without any sort of violence,

which is mostly thanks to the elites stationed around the arena and the naiteu wokeo watching from the shadows

But even with the civility, the air is thick with tension and confusion,

The nations sit separately, on segregated parts of the arena with their rois leading the crowd, uncle sits infront of the west, something I couldn't do because as from today, I'm standing for all.

I breathe in, eyes closed and I see kiaras smile.

I don't know when she became a source of strength for me, but she is.

I walk out the balcony and the shouting and banter ceases, everyone's attention gotten,

The arena goes quiet and everyone bows, I find song right beside uncle, uncle smiles and song discreetly gives me a thumbs up. The ministers are sitted right infront of the crowd like song said and I resist the urge to snicker

They look completely on edge.

I take in the nations and all the different insignias and move to start the speech I planned out

"I think you should speak from here "

I smile, looking up at the crowd

" here sits the eagles of the south, the Phoenix of the east, the leopards of the north, and the dragons of the west" I start, voice carrying out through the arena.

"our nation's have been on opposing sides before most of us were born, there has been suffering and fighting, bloodshed and even slavery, a century of complete domination by the west, something started by my own family "

I take in the eyes in the arena, watching me with barely concealed confusion, some with fear and I can tell the other nations are on edge, even though their rois look completely relaxed.

"and we've all had to live through it, to accept it, decade upon decade, we've all lost people, loved ones, people who had dreams and hopes to the fighting, to the never ending battle we didn't have a say in. It's what we met, it's what we were born into, it's all we know " I say gaze sweeping through the crowd

"but we're here now, four completely different nations that have been at war for decades coexisting in a single room, for the first time in history"

The crowd begins to look around, as if suddenly realizing that everyone here is on opposing sides of the war

"I gained the trust of every roi sitted here today, despite the war, despite the fact that my nation is the aggressor, even when they had no reason to trust me, I had to earn it, because at the end of the day, we all have people we want to protect, we've been working together ever since, this is why you are all sitted here today, not as the north, east, south or west, but as people, people who have dreams and someone they want to protect "

The room had broken into murmurs and I could see more than a few wide eyes, the ministers included, seemingly taking in the situation and it was comical to see.
