But letting go is soo hard, but I have too so here we aree, because you all deserve this for having come this far with me.

"Almost done princess" leeyah says dabbing at my eyes with a cotton.

She's one of the girls our wedding planner had brought with her today to apparently get me ready for the wedding,

And I knew better than to stop her when she was in work mode by now.

Tera of course had stayed by me the entire time and made sure they didn't go too far with the glitter, one leeyah was very instant on putting on my hair

I was nervous, happy, excited, but most of all I felt like I was finally going home, which is weird cuz I already realized he was my home a long time ago.

But this, knowing after today I would be forever his home and him mine intensified everything I'd been feeling since forever.

Of course my head hadn't been quiet either. We've both been through a lot, and I never thought we'd get here, but yet

"All done princess" leeyah said stepping back and I opened my eyes to see the satisfied smile on her face, she holds out the mirror and my eyes almost widen out of their sockets.

Tera has a hand on her mouth and her eyes are gleaming.

I hear Lia come in later, and realize she came with lu fehn and azumi when I hear their voices.

"The crowd out there is insane" lu fehn says

"The hall?" tera asks, I don't hear his answer but I do hear when azumi asks for me.

"She's getting changed" tera replies

"aren't you men supposed to be with orlan?" tera asks and I can almost imagine azumi waving her off before leaning in to kiss her.

"His uncle came in, looked like they needed a moment" he says and my hand immediately thumbs at the bethrodal necklace,

Thoughts of his proposal playing in my mind.

"Is he nervous" it comes from lia and I hear azumi scoff

"More like he can't stop smiling" he says cheekily and I smile

I see the same smile reflected in yenas face and realize she had been listening in too.

She's part of the group the wedding planner had brought, sunan had been here earlier, hugging me so tight I couldn't breathe, before rushing off to find orlan.

After that I tune them out, hand still thumbing at my necklace.

I think of mothers that used to rest there, of how much I would have wanted her and papa to see this one, to have met him.
