Chapter 34

It has already been 5 days of the term and Annie was walking from her class to the great hall along Emma and Luna
"I'm telling you, he keeps surprising me" Emma comments
"Are we talking of the same guy? Because that doesn't sounds like the Colin I know" Annie says mocking about the comment
"I swear, Luna here was this morning when I got the flowers in our dorm"
"They were very pretty" Luna said
Annie glazed Draco who was laying  next to a tree in one of the outside fields of the school, he was definitely trying to get her attention
"Talking about dorms... I forgot the book of my next class in my bed, why don't you go ahead and I will meet you for lunch in a sec?"
"Okay, but don't take too much time" Emma says "common Luna lets go"
Both girls continue with her way to the great hall and Annie waited for them to be out of sight to head outside the castle.
"Hey" Draco said Shyly
"Hi"
"Are you mad at me?"
" I know you did that to Harry the other day..."
"Annie..."
"I know you 2 are not gonna be friends, and I'm not asking for that, but you need to understand that right now you and him are the guys I most care about and I can't.."
"Wait do you.. do you really care about me?"
"Do I look like a liar? Of course I care about you Draco, you're.. you're my boyfriend for a reason, and I know we can't tell anything about our relationship but that doesn't.."
"I'll try" he interrupted her again
"Wait what?"
"I will try to avoid anything with Potter, if that makes you happy I will do the best to do it"
She instantly smiled and kissed him
"Thank you"
"Uhm wanna hang out for a while?"
" i can't .. but, tonight? I mean after all I am a perfect this year.."
"You want to break the rules? I guess you've spend so much time with me" Draco says smiling
"Who says I didn't broke the rules before you" She says kissing him again " see you tonight" she adds before heading back inside
When she got to the great hall she saw Harry alongside Ron sitting while discussing something so she made her way to sit next to them
"Hey guys how's was your first week?"
"I've had better" Ron says
"I'm sure about that"
"What about you? Ready for the OWLS"
"I'm working on that" she says and saw the marauders map on the table "who were you spying on?"
"Don't worry. I did swear to you that I was not gonna be looking where you are, we were just doing some check up on other people"
"Other people?"
"Don't worry about it" Harry said and changed the topic
After her classes were over she head back to the tower and spend the afternoon with her friends, then after dinner she and Lex went to their prefect round.
"You cover the 6th flour and I cover the 7th?" Annie asked
"Sounds good to me, meet you here in an hour" Lex said before going his way
Annie went to the 7th floor and start going around the halls until someone took her hand from behind
"You scared me" she said to Draco
"I'm sorry...care to follow me?" He said leading her hand until they reached an empty wall, a place she knew very well, seconds after the door of the room of requirements appeared and they both entered.
" how do you..."
"Doesn't matter" he said before starting kissing her. She could notice that he was feeling desperate, like if he didn't kissed her he would fell in the ground.
They moved themselves to a couch that was spread in the corner, she was trying to enjoy it, but before she could think about it she felt a strong pain on the belly, that made her do a strange and painful face
"Whats the matter?" Draco said very scared
"Nothing, don't worry"
"Annie tell me what's wrong, did someone did something to you?" He was becoming very concerned and paranoid
"Calm down Draco, no one did something to me.. it's just that" she felt a bit embarrassed " I'm just having period cramps"
"Oh.." he said " I'm sorry if I overreacted a bit"
She smiled
"Come here" he said opening his arms and cussing with her in the couch, he start massaging her back, and they just stayed there for a couple of minutes
"This feels nice" she says
"You make everything feel nice"
"How was you week?" She asked
"Stressful and yours?"
" I can't complain.. starting to get a bit worried about the owls"
"You will do great I'm sure about it"
"By the way I didn't congratulate you properly, you did very well, what did your mother said about them?"
"She was happy.. even under the circumstances"
"Didn't she suspected about your trip?"
"No or if she did she didn't said anything about it, this summer has been difficult for her"
"And for you?"
"For me.. Yea a bit too" Annie knew Draco already enough to knowing that something was wrong but she wanted him to tell her about it when he felt the necessity.
After 30 minutes of just cuddling together Annie knew it was time to go back before Lex looked for her.
" aren't you coming?"
"I will stay here for a while" he kissed her in the forehead "good night"
"Night" She said before living the room and make her way back to find Lex.
