We stopped by the brewery and Marie lets us in.

"Oh. So all this is your dad's huh?" Dean asked as she gave us a quick tour.

"And his friend - Randy Baxter. They own the place together now," Marie added. Wait, now?

"Now?" Sam asked, unmasking my thoughts.

"Well, since Dale died."

I wanted to ask her more questions but I was interrupted.

"Hold on, Hold on, Hold on," the man said. He sounded really pissed off. Ooh, what's going on over there? "You think I just come in late whenever I want?"

"I'm sorry, sir. It won't happen again," the worker said.

Venom had a huge grin on his face. Someone's getting their ass handed to them.

Marie sighed as she leaned closer to us. "The, uh, 'charming' Randy Baxter," she mumbled.

"I'll tell you what," Randy continued. "Congratulations. You're headed for the graveyard shift. Be one second late, and you're fired."

"Yes, sir," the worker said before leaving.

Ah, that just made my morning.

"He's actually a really nice guy. It's just not easy being the axman," Marie defended him. I call bullshit that's what everyone says about douchebags like that.

"So true," Dean agreed.

It's fun being the axman. Especially if you're the one holding the ax. Would you like me to show you? It'll be fun. I'll use Dean's head as an example. We can even send his head to Garth as a gift.

Speaking of Garth, he looked towards the office. "Uh. My comrades got you covered, so if you'll excuse me," he said.

"I'll go with you," I offered.

"Actually, Agent Van Scotter," Dean quickly said. "It'll be best if Sam goes with him."

Sam gave his brother a confused look. "What?" Dean gave Sam another look, so he slowly nodded his head. "Um, right. If that's ok with you?"

No, not ok.

I don't really see the big deal who goes with Garth. I just nodded anyway. "Yeah. Yeah. That's fine."

Sam gave me an apologetic look before following Garth. Dean looked towards Marie and said, "She's still learning the ropes. You know how it is?"

Excuse me?

I rolled my eyes before looking at Marie. "How are you, Marie?" I asked.

"I'm fine. I'm just worried about my dad," she said. "He blames himself when Dale died, and now this."

"Why did he blame himself?"

"Well, Dale was sensitive. But what do you do? Watch them 24/7?" Well, if they had me then yes. "You can't blame Dale's friends."

"But your dad still feels bad," Dean stated.

"And it doesn't help Dale's wife is suing us."

"Really? Why?" I asked.

"She's angry and grieving, and this is America?"

Yeah, it makes sense. People are suing people left and right. Some even jump in front of cars in hopes of getting some cash.

I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair. Sam and Garth came out of the room and nodded at us.

"Thank you for your time," I said before we left.
