As rare as it was for Stray Kids to get a day off, it was even more rare for them to get to go to a theme park, and they were all beyond excited - especially Minho.

He loved theme parks, loved the joy and pure excitement the surroundings emanated, as well as the rides (obviously the rides). Chan had expected Minho to slip before they left as this whole trip was supposed to be a way for him to de-stress after a very long and draining week.

All of the members were tired and worn out, but Minho - being the only little in the group - had found their schedule even harder as he wasn't able to slip, resulting in a break down last night that led to Chan booking the group's tickets to the theme park for the next day.

As they arrived, Minho's eyes sparkled in amazement as he looked around at the joyous park before him. Squeezing Chan's hand, he turned to his caregiver and smiled so bright Chan was convinced he'd just seen the sun in Minho's smile.

"Excited, baby?" The blonde asked, feeding into Minho's happiness.

Minho bounced and nodded happily, giggling as he looked around again. Chan chuckled at his baby's excited and held his hand as he turned to the other members.

"Manager says we have to be back here at four which gives us five hours to do whatever we want, within reason," Chan began to explain. "There are no cameras filming us but be aware of people who might recognise us - meaning no kissing or whatever unless you know you're alone. I'm looking at you, Changbin and Felix."

Felix pouted behind his mask, although he couldn't really argue with what Chan was saying as he was currently clinging to Changbin's arm.

"We've got the group chat if any of us need anything, and try to stay in groups of two or more - I really don't want any of us getting lost. Understood?" He concluded, and Seungmin stood to attention suddenly as he saluted Chan.

"Yes sir!" He exclaimed, and Chan rolled his eyes playfully before squeezing Minho's hand.

"Come on, baby. Let's leave these silly boys," Chan said and Minho giggled again, nodding happily as he led Chan over to the first ride he wanted to go on. "You know those rules apply to you too, don't you, baby?"

"Yes, Daddy!" Minho replied, swinging his and Chan's arms back and forth as they walked to the Helter Skelter.

"Good boy," Chan praised, bringing Minho's hand up to his lips and kissing his knuckles.

As they reached the first ride, Minho couldn't stop jumping around, obviously excited by the day ahead of him. Chan smiled at the sight of Minho so happy, feeling that familiar sense of pride eke into his chest as it always did when the sight of his members being rewarded for their hard work was presented to him.

They got onto the first ride without any problems, Chan being relieved that the Helter Skelter here was a two-man ride if needed, and Chan slid in behind Minho on the mat needed to go down the slide without getting burnt, wrapping his arms around Minho's waist from behind and encouraging Minho to hold onto his arms.

"Where to now, baby boy?" Chan asked, looking down at Minho as the younger boy looked around, trying to find something he wanted to do.

In the distance, Minho could make out the shape of a candyfloss stand and, feeling too little to articulate what he wanted into words, he made a short noise and pointed in the direction of the stand.

"What's that, darling?" Chan asked softly, following where Minho's finger was pointing.

Minho jumped and pointed again, a little frown on his face at Chan not being able to understand him. Chan tried - he really did - to follow where Minho's finger was pointing but the constant crowd of people passing by made it even harder for him to see, and he could tell Minho was starting to get annoyed.

"Let's go over there, shall we, doll?" He asked, trying to return Minho back to his initial happy state.

Chan began to walk in the direction he thought Chan was pointing in, but when he heard a shout of discontent from his baby, he only had the chance to look down at Minho next to him before the younger had let go of his hand and was running off.

"Minho, no!" Chan yelled, attempting to go after him, and he would've managed to if it weren't for the people in his way.

He had lost Minho. Minho was lost. Alone. In a crowded theme park. And he was little.

The situation couldn't have been worse for him, especially after telling everyone else not to get lost on their own.

"Excuse me, have you seen a man a bit shorter than me, brunette, a beige coat on?" Chan asked anyone who would listen, moving swiftly on when people either shrugged, ignored him or said no. Some people even offered to help him look, but Chan knew he ran quicker on his own, and he didn't want anyone knowing explicitly that Minho was a little.

He felt like the world was spinning around him, and Chan suddenly felt sick. All he could think of was getting scolded by their manager, and getting into a lot of trouble and Minho being left on his own. God knows what could be happening to Minho right now!

Had someone found him? Taken him? Was he hurt? Where the hell was he?

After another ten minutes of frantic searching, calling Minho's name and asking more people if they had seen him, Chan sighed in agitation as he felt tears fill his eyes. He couldn't believe he'd lost Minho just like that, after he was supposed to be the most responsible member of the group.

Running a hand through his hair, his teary eyes darted around the area in front of him before he heard Jeongin calling his name.

"Channie-hyung!" The youngest called out urgently, and Chan turned around almost immediately, the tears in his eyes pooling over as he saw Seungmin with the youngest, carrying Minho in his arms.

Without even thinking, Chan sprinted over to the second youngest, taking Minho from him and holding the dancer close to his chest. Minho cried into Chan's hoodie and Chan held Minho so tight, he was worried he would hurt him. but Minho didn't complain, only cried for Chan.

"He was over near the swinging ship ride crying for you and we saw him and tried to find you," Jeongin explained. "We tried texting you but you didn't answer so we didn't know what had happened."

"Daddy, 'm so sowwy!" Minho cried, clinging to Chan like a lifeline, and Chan sobbed.

"Baby, it's ok. It's ok, baby," he sniffled into Minho's shoulder. "But don't ever run off like that again, baby, please."

"I won't, Daddy, I pwomise!" Minho cried, refusing to let Chan go even after he had calmed down.

But Chan didn't mind one bit if it meant Minho was safe in his arms.
