Kakarating ko lang sa lobby ng Condo namin pagkatapos akong hinatid ni Kingsley. Binati ako ng guard at nginitian ko naman ito at dumiretcho na akong naglakad papuntang elevator.

I saw Ken sitting on one of the chairs sa lobby at busy sa kung ano mang ginagawa sa phone niya. Hindi ko siya pinansin at nagpatuloy lang ako sa paglalakad dahil na iinis parin talaga ako sa ginawa nito kanina.
I entered the elevator and when the door was about to close, may pumigil dito. It was Ken. He is wearing a loose printed polo and jagger pants at pinarisan lang nito ng flip flops with his earphones on. It's a weird combination but in fairness, he actually made it work.
Nang nakapasok na si Ken ay hindi ko parin ito pinansin. Nakita kong pinaglaruan nito ang buttons ng elevator at pinindot lahat ng floors na naging dahilan na naka taas kilay ko siyang nilingon.
Me: " Press mo nalang din kaya ang Basement floor para more chances of winning? " Sarcastic na sabi ko sa kanya.
Bored ba to? Anong trip nito?
Ken: " Familiar ang line na yan! Kay Toni Gonzaga yan sa You're my Boss na pelikula nila ni Coco Martin! " Hirit nito na inirapan ko lang.
Me: " I don't watch local movies " Walang ganang sabi ko while watching the elevator door opened and closed on each floor.
Ken: " Ang cute mo talaga pag na bwe-bweset ka. " Sabi pa nito at nagpipigil ng ngiti.
Me : " Alam ko. " I gave him a smirk.
Ken : " Yabang ah.. " Tatawa-tawang sabi niya.
Inirapan ko lang ito at tumahimik na ako. Why am I even bothering talking to him eh wala naman tong kwentang kausap?
Then nakita ko ito sa salamin ng elevator na nag pipigil ng tawa. Hindi ko alam pero parang nananadya ang hudyo!
Me : " What's funny? " Mataray na tanong ko sa kanya at saglit na nilingon ito.
Ken: " Wala lang.. ang cute mo kasi. " Nagpipigil parin ito ng ngiti.
Me: " That sounds so great when you say it. You must know that right? Of course, because you're such a player. " Sarcastic na sabi ko sabay irap sa kanya.
And yes bumukas na naman ang elevator at sumara na naman iyon. Ugh! How long will it take for me to reach my floor!??
Ken: " I'm not a player. " Sagot niya. Nakita ko ang expression niya sa salamin sa elevator and he looked serious.
Me: " Whatever " Sabi ko nalang.
Alam ko naman talagang hindi ito player though pumapangalawa ito kay Josh na mahilig ng casual hook ups, pero hindi ito nagpapaasa ng babae. He always clear things with the girls he hook up with , na casual hook ups lang talaga ang intention nito and he can't do more than that. I remembered there was one time I went out with them to a bar at may ka laplapan ito sa dance floor but when the girl asked for his number, he immediately backed out.
Finally bumukas na ang pinto ng elevator sa floor ng unit ko kaya lumabas na ako at naglakad na. Naramdaman kong nakasunod ito.
Ken: " I could never cheat on anyone. It's the type of mistake and wrongdoing I couldn't live with. Knowing that you destroyed someone's trust is bad, but destroying someone's perspective on love is far too worse. " Biglang hirit nito na naging dahilan nang paglingon ko sa kanya.
When that one person who never has anything intelligent to say actually says something intelligent...
Ken: " I have high standards. I'm very picky when it comes to liking someone. I mean I fling with girls but that's just a casual hookup but it's extremely rare for me to actually start having feelings for them. So If I actually start liking that person, she must be very special. " Sabi nito at nag smirk at tinitigan ako.
Ken and his stupid, sexy smirk. His stare was so intense kaya nag-iwas ako ng tingin. Nagpatuloy na lang ako sa pag lakad and finally nakarating na rin sa tapat ng pinto ko at hindi na nagsalita pa.
Ken : " Angel? " He called kaya nilingon ko siya. " You deserve someone who thinks you are so important to lose " Sabi nito at pumasok na sa loob ng unit.
