Willow's POV

Jess and I get ready and head downstairs.

"Morning," Jess says when he sees Luke.

"You're up early."

"Gotta catch me that worm. See ya," Jess replies.

"Where you off to?" Luke asks.

"School."

"This early?"

"I got a lab project going on. Me and my team are meeting early," Jess says.

I had informed Jess that Luke knew about him not going to school. He tried telling me he was going enough, but I wasn't so sure.

"Well, have a good day," Luke says.

He seems happy.

"If I have a choice."

We both walk over to the Gilmore's table and I sit down.

"Hey," he says, and gives Rory a kiss.

"Good morning," Lorelai says.

"Talk to you later," he tells Rory, who smiles brightly at her.

"Later," she replies, and I give him a wave as he leaves.

Lorelai's phone rings and digs in her purse to find it.

"By the way, your boyfriend snores," Lorelai tells her daughter.

"Didn't need to know that," she replies.

"Luke does too, just so you know," I add.

"Didn't need to know that either," Rory says.

"Hello? It is?" oh, I love you. I love you. Thanks. We're open," Lorelai states, standing up.

"Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention, please? That was Chief Baker on the phone who told me in that deep, sexy voice of his, the inn is officially reopened," she announces.

Everyone claps.

"Uh, right now it's just me and the staffers, but soon, very soon, you will have your stuff back and you can go home."

"Thank you, Lorelai. Listen, from our group, we want to give you this."

One of the guys says, handing her a raven thing.

"Oh, well, that's the nicest dead bird I've ever gotten. Thanks Fred," she tells the guy, Fred, taking the raven from him.

She hates it.

"It's from all of us," another guy says.

"Right. Thank you, Poe society. Coming, Sookie?"

"I'm coming," Sookie says, and then gives Luke instructions on how to finish breakfast.

"Don't burn anything. Go it," he replies, pretty much ignoring her.

"I've got to change for school," Rory says.

"Go, go. We'll see you later," Lorelai tells her.

"Lets go," Sookie says, and they all head out.

"I'm gonna get my stuff and head out too," I tell Luke before going back upstairs.

Rory is trying to plan Lorelai's birthday, so she and Lane are kind of busy at the moment. Jess sees Rory when he's not busy with work, or not going to school.
