Willow's POV

Luke is standing at the counter looking at divorce papers, and I was standing next to him reading when Rory walks in.

"Hey, Luke. Hi, Will." she says.

"Rory!" I run around and hug her.

"Hey, Rory. Isn't today Yale?" Luke asks.

We sit together at the counter.

"Um, yeah. I am going right now," she replies.

"You look so calm. How do you feel?" he asks.

"A little nervous, but a last Luke's fix before I go will help," she says.

"Well, today is whatever you want, on the house," he tells her.

"Wow, I feel important."

"You are important. Where's your mom?"

"She's coming. She's having a wee bit of trouble with your truck."

I see Luke look out the window.

"What is she doing?"

"Well, she backed the truck out of our driveway all fine, and everything, but once she hit the road, she couldn't get it out of reverse, so she-"

"Backed it here?" Luke asks, looking out at her all confused.

I'm laughing my ass off.

"Slow and steady," Rory says.

Luke goes outside to Lorelai.

"She backed it the whole way here," I say, still laughing.

"What do you want Rory? I'll tell Caesar."

I take her order and then sit with her again.

"Good luck. I am gonna miss you," I tell her.

"Thank you. I'm gonna miss you too, and good luck with Junior year," she replies.

We give each other a hug, and Luke and Lorelai come back in.

"Really Luke, I can drive it," Lorelai says.

"Okay, fine. Just be careful and have it back here by Four."

"Four-ish it is," she replies.

"Four. I need it at four," Luke tells her.

"Give or take?" she jokes.

"Four," he says louder.

"God, he's so possessive about this stupid truck," Lorelai complains.

"It's my truck! I possess it!" he yells.

"I'm just kidding. I'll have it back by four. Calm down," Lorelai replies.

"Okay, I'm just... I'm not in much of a kidding mood with all this other stuff going on. Divorce papers, fun, huh?"

"Zero fun. Sorry, Luke," Lorelai says.

"It's not like I wasn't expecting them, it's just the law firm that Nicole works at sent them. I called with a simple question they could answer over the phone, but they insisted on sending someone down to see me."

"I take it you are not looking forward to that," she says.

"I am about to build a moat of fire," he replies.

"Here you go, Rory," Caesar says, handing Rory her bag of food.

"Thank you, Caesar. Since we were short on time I had them make us something to go. My Yale special," Rory says.
