「Chapter 15: Next」

Time: 4pm, after class

The student council was suppose to have a budget meeting for this month, but unfortunately, Yuki quickly went out of the school, not leaving even a single trace or reason why. She just got to go somewhere else to think. She decided to go to the mall to clear her head. Yuki went to the department store, to buy some clothes maybe.

As she looked into some clothes that caught her eye, she heard a green-haired girl and a girl with glasses and pigtails chatting about a cute shirt that they saw.

"Isn't it cute Okuda-san?!" The green haired girl exclaimed with a cheerful smile.

"Yes! Why don't you try it out?" The girl asked her. Then they noticed Yuki looked at them making her flustered.

"A-Ah! I-I'm sorry I jus—" Yuki exclaimed but was interrupted.

"Oyy! Okuda-san! Kayano!" A blue haired boy along a boy with red haired went to their direction. "We were looking everywhere for
you—Oh! Ki-chan! Fancy meeting you here." The red haired boy smiled at Yuki.

"Oh......haha....hello Ma-kun, I was clearing my head so I decided to went out."

"Hmm, that's nice" Karma said

"Sorry for staring at you! We thought you looked familiar, I forgot that you visited our school." Kayano said

"It's fine." Yuki smiled

"Anyway, why don't you join us? Akabane-san?" Nagisa asked.

"Thank you! By the way, you can call me Yuki." She said as they strolled around the mall.

After sometime, they went to a fast food chain and chatted about various of things.

Then before they knew it, it was already late. They went on their separate ways and went home.

Yuki didn't want to bring up what happened and forgot about it while they were having fun at the mall. She went home as well. It was already 10 in the evening, when she opened the door, the first thing that she saw was Teru sitting on the couch while Kou was at the dining table, doing assignments. Without looking, Teru asked her.

"It's late, where have you been?"

"........to the mall........" Yuki said while removing her shoes.

"We had a budget meeting earlier, why'd you leave?"

"I wanted to buy something."

Teru stood up and faced her.

"Yuki.............about what happened..." Teru sounded apologetic and a hint of guilt was visible on his face.

"Hmm? What happened?" Yuki stared at him blankly. Teru looked at her in disbelief.

"What?" He said.

"Nothing happened right?" She smiled at him, making him loose his cool.

"What do you mean nothing happened? Stop doing that! You're making me more guilty than I already am!" Kou couldn't help but looked at them in concern.

"I'm trying to apologize here!" Teru said making Yuki look at him.

"So you're really trying to rub in my face that you kissed another girl aside from your girlfriend?! Can't you see I'm trying to ignore the fact that you can do stuff like that?" Teru stared at her.

"What? You let her kiss you because you didn't want to make her upset? That you don't want to hurt her feelings?! You want to keep your image?? Guess what! That's fine! I don't care!" Yuki said, grabbing her things and went upstairs leaving Teru there, standing.

Timeskip: 2am in the morning.

Teru couldn't sleep. He couldn't stand the fact that the guilt wasn't going away and the fact that Yuki got mad at him. It really hurt him. So he stood up and went to Yuki's room. When he reached the room, instead of knocking, he quickly went inside the room seeing Yuki on the bed, lying down in her sides, the blanket was in her waist, revealing her curves, and her half of her face was buried in the pillow, her eyes were the only one's visible.

Yuki slowly opened her eyes. As she saw Teru, she quickly made the blanket cover her whole body. Teru was alarmed again and quickly went to the bed and took the pillow from her hands swiftly and took the opportunity to hug her. "Yuki........." Teru whined as he tighten the hug.

"What?" Yuki said in a muffled voice since she was covered by the blanket.

"Let me explain........the girl called me out to that tree then when she confessed I turned her down, then she grabbed my arm and pinned me to the tree then kissed me."

"So?"

"Yukiiiii" Teru whined (agh I can imagine this, this is too cute.)

"You did it anyway, and judging from what you look, it looks like you know her."

"That's not—"

"Lies" Yuki cutted him off

"Fine, I do know her, she was at my batch when I went to train to be an exorcist when I was 8, I wasn't close to her, I just remembered her face." Teru said burying his head in Yuki's blanket.

"Fine, I forgive you.......I'm sorry for lashing out like that, I just didn't know how to react." With that, Yuki removed the blanket and hugged him back.

"Do you have anything else to say to me?" Yuki looked up at Teru.

"I'm sorry."

"And?"

"I promise I won't do it again." Then Yuki kissed his cheek smiling. Teru couldn't help but blush. "Haha......let's go back to sleep." Yuki said. "Yeah......."

"Anyway, was her lips softer than mine?" Yuki teased

"Aghh quit it.........."

"..............nah, yours is softer." Teru said still blushing as they both dozed off.

Timeskip: the next day

Today was any other usual day, though Kou is starting to go home late than usual. Classes just ended and Yuki was walking with some papers, looking tired since she ditched her secretary duties yesterday. She was going to the teachers' room and leave the papers there, then she came across the home economics room and heard some people chatting.

It's almost 5pm and students are still here? She thought as she peaked, and saw Kou and Nene stirring something in a bowl, Kou's hands was placed above Nene's, and they're faces are so close. Yuki looked lost. She kinda wish that was her. Too bad Kou-chan likes Yashiro-senpai......She took a deep breath and went back to her business.

As she left the teachers' room to give the papers, she went to the old building, at the girl's bathroom.

This must be where No. 7 is...........what was does the rumor say again?

........you knock three times on the third stall and..........

She sighed, thinking if this is the right thing to do. But without hesitation,

"Hanako-san, Hanako-san......are you there?"
