You were sitting in the living room with your son on your lap. "Now momma?" Your son asked you. "No, not yet sweetie." You hugged him.

You were watching Chris set up the Christmas tree. He insisted that he didn't need help putting up the tree.

"Almost done putting it up." Chris said as he put the last part of the tree up. "There!" Chris sighed happily. You smiled at the beautiful Christmas tree.

Chris grabbed a plug and smiled. "And for the finishing touch...." He plugged the cord into the wall. The Christmas tree lit up and your son gasped at how beautiful it was. You smiled to yourself as you gazed up at the tree, To your husband, and to your son.

"Wow!" The little boy exclaimed with a huge grin on his face. "Okay Thomas, Now you can help him with the ornaments." You smiled.

Thomas jumped off your lap and ran to go get the ornaments. "I think he loves Christmas just as much as you do." Chris said as he walked over to you.

"Yeah, I think he does." You said leaning against Chris. Chris smiled and put his hand on your stomach. "So when are we going to tell him?" Chris asked looking down at you.

"We could tell him now." You suggested with a smile. Then right on cue your son came into the room dragging a box of ornaments behind him.

You all started to decorate the tree. You looked over at Chris with a raised eyebrow.

"It's now or never." You thought to your self. Chris cleared his throat and smiled down at the young boy. "So, Thomas, what do you want for Christmas?" Chris asked the boy.

His face lit up. "I want the Captain America shield that shoots stuff, I want the Captain America action figure, and I want a bike." He grinned. You and Chris laughed at the amount of Captain America that was in his Christmas list. "But no clothes!" Thomas said seriously.

You looked down at your son. "What if they are Captain America clothes?" you asked with a smile. The little boy thought about it for a moment.

"That's okay." He said as he continued to put ornaments on the tree. You shook your head and smiled. The boy was still to young to understand what his fathers job was. He did not realize that his dad was Captain America.

"How would you like to have a baby brother or sister for Christmas?" Chris asked. Thomas looked at him like he was crazy.

"Santa can't make babies dad! Your silly." Thomas said with a giggle. You tried muffle your laughter. You smiled and picked Thomas up. "No he can't but mommy and daddy can." You smiled. He looked at you with wonder.

"You and daddy made a baby?" He asked. You nodded as you sat him down on the couch and you sat beside him.

"So your gonna have a baby on Christmas?" Thomas asked. "No not yet. Mommy will probably have the baby in the middle of next year." Chris said sitting next to his son.

The boy nodded in understanding. "So I am gonna be a big brother?" Thomas asked. "Yep. You're gonna be a great big brother." You said as you gave Thomas a hug. "Yeah, and your duties as big brother is to protect lil brother or sister." Chris said messing up his son's hair.

The boy was silent for a moment then he spoke. "Like Captain America?" Thomas asked. You giggled and sighed "Yes like Captain America."

"Awesome!" The boy jumped up. You and Chris smiled at each other while your son jumped up and down happily.
