Your POV
"Y/N! Come to my house tonight I'm lonely." Lia jumped on my back as she says so. Lia is always lonely on Fridays because she has strict parents and won't let her out of the house most of the time so she normally invites me for entertainment since her parents are very familiar of me. "Also bring a swim suit I want to go in the pool."

"Okay okay..chill I will. You're a little too cute don't you think?" I ran across the school's parking lot with Lia still on my back, hanging for dear life. Lia, I find her so cute. We have been best friends for quite a while now but I haven't really felt anymore more of her other than a best friend..except for the past few weeks.

I discovered that I have been falling for Lia all this time. I would always scowl and get jealous whenever a guy is around her and I'm always hoping she'd chose me instead of her fucking crush! It's the most painful thing ever to know that you'll never have a chance with someone but you keep falling for them.

"Y/N take me home I'm too tired to walk." I felt her head rest on my shoulder which felt comforting. I smiled like an idiot, not caring since she can't see my face. I agreed to give her a piggy back ride all the way home cause why not. It was a short walk anyways. Lia thanked me before going inside her house as I walked home as well, packing my stuff once I got there since I'm staying there for the night.

While I was about to knock on the door, I hear Lia's parents tell her goodbye. "Lia honey! We will be out for the weekend and will come back on Tuesday. Be safe! You can have Y/N over if you want! I love you."

They open the door and was shocked already seeing me there. "Oh hi Y/N! We will be out for a few days so feel free to stay in. Have fun!"

"Right. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Choi! Be safe as well!" I bow to them before heading inside Lia's massive house. "Julia? Where are you I'm here!" I eventually found my best friend spread out on the couch watching TV. "Lia get up you lazy fuck." I playfully flicked her forehead as she whines.

"You're annoying Y/N I hope you know that." Lia wanted us to cook dinner first before doing all sorts of random shots we usually do when I'm over at her house. "Okay now what do we eat for dinner?"

We searched the internet for recipes for anything we could easily cook and we decided not long later. Lia's currently on the cutting board, cutting vegetables. If I really want to have Lia as my girlfriend before that crush of hers, I should probably start making bold moves that I don't normally do.

"You smell really good." I say as I rest my chin on her shoulder while I wrap my arms around her small waist, pressing my body to her back. Lia seemed flustered at my sudden movement as she freezes for a few seconds before shrugging it all off. "Julia~" I call out sweetly.

"What is it?" Lia replies in the same tone. I took the knife from her and set it down, making her body face me. I lean forward; Lia slightly leaned back to avoid the near occasion of our lips meeting. The corner of my lips curved up. Success!

I left Lia dumbfounded as she closed her eyes, bracing herself, expecting a kiss. But instead, she just gets a flick on the forehead like before. She's too cute. I snicker quietly before backing off and do what I need to do.

We ate in a somewhat awkward atmosphere but we broke it all off with laughter in the end. Lia suggested watching a movie. I got us popcorn and watched the movie, huddled close together. Now Lia picked a horror movie which is so unlike her since she's afraid of horror movies.

Lia was basically covering herself with the blanket even before the movie started. The movie went on with Lia shaking in fear next to me while I just enjoy the popcorn.

At one point, there was a jump scare which made Lia literally claw onto me and shoved her face at the crook of my neck while screaming. "It's scary!" Lia hugged my arm and fully submerged herself under the blanket. I chuckle at her cute actions.

"It's okay Julia. The monster's gone." I take off the blanket to find her shivering.

"If it comes back on, you will protect me right Y/N?" Lia faces me with puppy eyes which I found adorable. I pinched her cheek and then cupped her cheek.

"I'll always protect you Julia. Always." It was until a few seconds later when we drowned into each other's eyes. Her deep brown orbs are so exhilarating to look at. I'm lucky I can get as close as this to her. Most of the time, we are mistaken for being couples which I'm not complaining about.

I leaned in a little closer to the point where our noses touched.

I couldn't help but just laugh at the situation I'm in. Lia punched and pinched me repeatedly after that. "You can't do that! Ugh you are so annoying!" Lia stormed out of the living room and to her own bed room. I shut the TV before running after her.

I walked into her bedroom to find her in a swim suit? She looks great..I couldn't help but stare. Lia's used about my teasing when I stare at her but I couldn't utter a word this time.

"Hurry and get changed. I want to swim!" She shoved me my backpack that held all my clothes so I hurried and changed into my swim wear and followed her outside, not forgetting to grab towels for the both of us.

We dipped our feet in the pool before actually swimming and just chatted about stuff.

"Hey Y/N?"

"Yeah?

"Beomgyu asked me out.." Beomgyu, Lia's crush, asked her out!? Damn. I really have no chance now do I? I'm doomed.

"Oh..congrats." I whispered but still audible to hear. Sadness was tinted in my voice which I mentally cursed myself for since she'll question it.

"Congrats? Why congrats?" This girl is so dumb. First she's oblivious, and now she doesn't know why I'm congratulating her.

"You're dating your crush. Duh." I forced a smile and faced her only to see Lia with a confused look

"I never said I accepted him. I like someone else..I just said I liked him to cover up the fact I like..you." Lia splashed water on me as she says the last part. She must've thought I was mad because I stayed frozen from what she said and did. "Oh shit..sorry! I know you're cold and it just seemed an okay thing to do with you I'm so sor-"

"I like you too Lia!" I yelled as I picked her up and threw her in the water, arms flailing around. Laughter bursted out of my mouth as her head reaches the surface with a very pissed expression. "Oh damn she's mad.."

"OF COURSE I'M MAD! I hate you! I didn't expect the water to be this cold!" Lia splashes more water on me as I can't hold my laughter on with her pissed expression and grunts.

"Okay okay chill out I'm sorry here let me help you out." I extended my arm to help her out of the pool but only to be dragged in with her. I really don't know why I trusted her. Lia probably didn't know why I trusted her.

The amount of laughter coming out of her mouth was equivalent to mine just a few seconds ago. "JULIA IT'S SO FUCKING COLD!"

"That's what I felt earlier when you threw me in." She snapped back. I rolled my eyes at her and swam closer.

"Well you had a towel with you." I shrugged my shoulders as my feet touched the bottom.

"How the hell will a wet, thin towel help with the cold!?" Lia tried to hit me but I just put her arms around my neck before my hands found her waist, pulling her closer.

I looked at her eyes which reads excitement. I pressed my lips to hers. Lia was stiff at first but she kissed back right before I pulled away. I smiled as Lia pulled me back into a kiss.

"You're mine Julia."
