First Person Point Of View

I smiled while answering her. I shood away the flies that were circling around these fishes.

"O sige!

I want to do a good job that's why even if it is tiring, it was worth it if I made a sale. I know my parents will be happy.

Nana Sita commanded me for the other to dos today.

I gave her a smile, while I am cleaning the fishes. In my days here I learned how to be one of them. How they live, and how they work, even. I realized I had a lot of priviledge, and a very sheltered girl because of the lack of experiences I have in simple chores.

"Ikaw talaga, Nana! Alam ko na po ang gagawin!" Tumatawa kong sabi sakan'ya. Nana Sita, and her husband Tata Rick were very patient with me.

Tumawa kami parehas. "Mas maganda ka Nana!"

I've grown to love them, and it is not even hard to do that because they are lovable people. They cared for me when no one was ready to do so. How the world works sounds erratic to me, after all what happened I am still existing now.

While I am walking, I see the beautiful view of the ocean. The sound of the waves, and air are very part of my routine now, it helped me recover to the things I cannot talk about.

I held my hair while I was walking to Riley's school.

Nasa Santa Isabella ako. Dito ako napunta after kong makatakas kay Lucy. One year after from all the mess, I managed to build a new life. I owe my life to the people who took care of me. My family, and friends here. I changed my name, and kept my identity hidden. It never late to make my life, if I ever want to define what I did.

When we returned to Manila, I managed to escape, and rode on a truck here in Aurora. I was out of my mind at that moment, the fragments are still in me but I am not able to recall what happened to me. For two days, I starved. The only time I got to eat when I saved Riley from an accident.

After that accident, Kinupkop ako ng mga magulang ni Riley. They asked me who I am, bakit ako naroon. I lied about myself. I said that my name is Esang. He did everything to protect me, and keep people from asking about my whereabouts.

"Ate!" His small screaming voice was enough for me to hear him.
