Jade: you can't cook, and you just assumed that someone as badass as Jade would order takeout or order someone else to cook it for her, so it comes as a total shock when you're round her house and she begins to make the two of you Sesame Tossed Noodles With Flavoured Tofu. Your mouth falls wide open as she flits about cooking and checking on multiple things at once, and stays open throughout the meal despite you still eating it.

Robbie: disaster chef. Once he almost burned the kitchen down making cheese on toast, and when you saw it you screamed even through the fire department putting the fires out and making Robbie stop, drop, and roll.

Cat: can cook well, but really weird things. One day she lets you come round and offers to make supper, then makes and hands you a kangaroo stew with honey-infused spring onions steeped in cooking wine that's been expired since 2006. She says she learned to cook from her mother, and for the seventeenth time since you met her, you worry for Cat's health, physical or otherwise.

André: mediocre cook, able to make decent edible food, but gets distracted easily from cooking when the TV's on. As a result you're not allowed to watch telly when it's his turn to cook, and last time you forgot to turn it off, well... let's just say you'll be using a lot of eyebrow pencil for the next few months. At least you were able to refocus his attention before you lost the other one.

Tori: gets takeaway because she can cook, but she prefers not to. She also happens to fancy the cute delivery boy from a close takeaway place, and when it comes to hot guys you know the Vega girls won't budge.

Beck: the best unprofessional cook you've ever met. When it's his turn to make dinner he gives you the works, sets up the dinner table like a fancy restaurant, dons a silly apron, lays out the fancy plates, and generally treats you like royalty. Well, he does always anyway, but you know, this time it's food.
