"So you kissed Chang? Didn't her boyfriend pass away last year? You're foul, Potter-"
"But she conjured up a Mistletoe! What was I supposed to do? They're enchanted so the couple can't leave unless they Kiss!" Harry exclaimed loudly, attracting the attention of a couple of Gryffindors around them. Hermione shushed him, whacking him on the head with a rolled up Daily Prophet. Ron snorted into his cereal. Apparently, on the day the Weasley siblings had left school mysteriously, Harry had a moment with Cho Chang during a Dumbledore's Army session. She hadn't joined them that, favouring to finish her Potion's essay with Draco instead. From what Harry described, it really sounded more like Chang having a breakdown over the fact that her boyfriend was murdered than her being infatuated with the Chosen One and Harry had interpreted it as "Oh, she must want me to kiss her."
Merlin, boys could be such idiots.
And yet Chang seemed to like that since they were now sort of a couple. Maybe she was an idiot too. Meredith never took a liking to the Ravenclaw; She didn't have anything against her, but she couldn't find it in herself to actively like the girl.
