Third Person's POV
"I don't even know if Yeonseok is part of everything or not." Jaesuk says as he stares at the rest of the detectives who were silently sitting down.
It was literal chaos. Yeonseok leaves once more after the mysterious man drinks a poisonous drink, saying that he will be back once again. Thankfully, the detectives escape the cages by the help of analyzing and a running Sehun and Y/n hand in hand.
-Yeonseok leaves again
Today, they were silently seated inside a room, discussing the happenings that happened from the past case. Everything was a literal blur to them. There were these humans that can't function with project D marks on their back and there was this man who was willing to sacrifice his life for the microchip.
The subject tests were comparable to the zombies you see on movies. With specific words, they'll react a specific movement or shout another word. They'll ran with an orange colored thing and cannot move without any command.
-Subject tests
"Maybe he was giving us a hint?" Minyeong unsurely asks, giving a partial answer regarding Yeonseok's suspiciousness. She was trying to think of a reason regarding his doings.
Jaesuk snickers. "A hint about what?" He asks, Minyoung answering almost immediately.
"I think he wants us to dig in deeper." Minyoung says, getting a clue without a direct hint. She was sure.
There was a moment of silence between the detectives. They were thinking of possible reasons and answers without a direct question. It was as if trying to give an answer without knowing the real question.
"What is that again?" Jaesuk asks, referring to the flash drive that Sejong partially keeps.
Sejong pulls out the case, opening it to let the detectives see the weird looking chip. "How can we possibly open this?" She asks, the whole team still oblivious of the ways of entrance.
"Wouldn't K know how to open this?" Kwangsoo questions, remembering the person who bought the whole team together.
"Where is K now? Shouldn't he be helping us?" Jaesuk asks, suddenly curious of how K was gone through these important moments.
-K hasn't been in contact
"But then, the adversaries that are against K are getting much more power. Can that mean that all of us are in danger?" Sejong asks, the though of them being in risk lingering in her mind. It was a thought that has to be surely present. They were involve in these scary things.
Again, there was this moment of silence. They don't know what to do. K is the only one safe to answer their questions yet the detectives can't reach him through this important peak. Suddenly, all of their phones ringed at the same time, alarming them.
"Ehh?"
"Detectives, I am excited to see you all in person." Jaesuk reads loudly, enumerating everything in the messages. "I am typing this message after asking M to recruit you all through a party."
"M?!" The others exclaimed, only knowing one person who has this name. He was the host of the party that was shot by Yoo Yeonseok.
"Ahh!" Sehun says in relief, keeping his hand enclosed with yours. "The message was scheduled in advance."
-A message way back from September 27
"I hope all of you had become true detectives. Now comes the last test. Come to this address to find out." Jaesuk reads once more, reading the address right after.
"This was written months ago. M was still alive then." -Sejong
"This was when the party was held." -Jaesuk
"Before I was kidnapped." -You
"So it was possible to send messages to a specific date?"
The former agent's question made everyone try to suppress their laughs. It was a proof of how he was far away from the modern technology. The other's who were laughing at him were avoiding to admit that it was all new to them too.
-Amazing modern technology
"People do those these days." Minyoung says, not wanting to admit her first encounter with this.
"Technology is amazing." Jaewook says, his flustered look not disappearing. "K is also amazing to be able to keep being updated."
The detectives were fiddling with their phones, searching the location that was given to them. "Should we head here first?" Sejong asks, not knowing what to do next.
"It's not like we have something to do anyways." You said, looking through the maps.
Suddenly, a voice rings from an unknown source, the projector flashing the same intro whenever K talks to them. The detectives exclaimed, not knowing what was going on.
"Thank you for buying me time, detectives." A voice from a familiar man echoes, the detectives trying to know who he was.
-A familiar voice
"It's C."Sehun says, the unforgettable voice statued in his mind.
"But isn't he dead?" The others asked, knowing that he was shot by Yeonseok during their first stage.
"Everything is going accordingly to my plan." C's voice ringed, the detectives listening as much as possible. "And since you all bought me some time, I was able to kidnap K at his office."
The detectives released sounds and exclaims of shock. Now they knew the reason why K wasn't able to communicate with them. K, the boss of project D, was kidnapped.
-C kidnapped K
"Now, I would be able to accomplish what I want."

It's the last episode of Busted 1! Look how far we got to!
After I finish the book, I would post the official book 2 and run through the editing before posting chapters of that.
Somehow, I want this book to reach 30k before publishing the book 2 yet I can't wait!
