Chapter 3: Start of a New Family

(Flashback Starts)

"Tsunade I Kaguya's really sick, I need your help quick, please" Naruto begged Tsunade. Tsunade immediately got up, disregarding the paperwork, and ran to the hospital along with Naruto. Once she arrived in the room Kaguya was in Kaguya was awake and seemed okay. "Naruto you said she's really sick, she seems fine," Tsunade said as she angrily glared at Naruto. "But she threw up earlier when we were doing a demonstrative spar at the academy and she said she's never been sick before!" Naruto said in a panicked tone still. Tsunade gave a sigh of annoyance as she went over to Kaguya to see what was wrong with her. Almost as soon as Tsunade placed her hand on Kaguya's forehead she pulled her hand quickly and looked back at Naruto with an expression that confused Naruto, she was smiling at Naruto. "What's wrong Granny?" Naruto said after he calmed down a bit. Tsunade looked back at Kaguya and got a nod from the Chakra Goddess and Tsunade looked back at Naruto with an even bigger smile.

"Naruto she's..."

"Naruto she's pregnant!" Tsunade said with a big smile, "Congratulations". After Naruto heard this news he was stunned. It was like he couldn't move his body at all. "Naruto, are you okay?" Kaguya asked with concern in her voice when Naruto didn't say anything. Naruto then looked at Kaguya with no expression at first but when he looked at her for a bit longer he started to get the biggest grin he had ever gotten. "I'm going to be a father ya know," Naruto said in a regular tone. "and I'm going to be a mother!" Kaguya said with excitement because she was having a child with the person she loved the most. "I'm going to be a father Ya know!" Naruto shouted, his voice filled with excitement as he ran towards Kaguya and gave her a hug. Once Naruto pulled away from the hug he adopted a confused look on his face. "But how are you pregnant? We only did it once." Naruto said as he scratched the back of his head in confusion. Tsunade was shocked to hear this and thought that it was impossible that this could happen. "When did you guys do... it?" Tsunade asked and regretted asking such a private question but was trying to get to the bottom of this. "Uh... last night" Naruto said nervously. Tsunade just got a look of pure disbelief on her face when she heard what Naruto said. "Th-that's impossible. When I sensed that Kaguya had a child I also sensed that it was a month along!" Tsunade shouted in disbelief. Naruto was now even more confused than before and it showed and it made Kaguya giggle a little at Naruto's completely confused face. "I think I might have an explanation Lady Tsunade," Kaguya said as she adjusted herself so that she could sit up and winced a little bit. Naruto was at her side in an instant, "Don't strain yourself Kaguya" Naruto said with worry. Kaguya looked at Naruto with a thankful glance and then turned to look at Tsunade. " Since I'm an Otsutsuki my gestational period is shorter than a human's but by only two months. But since I have the Ten-Tails still its chakra is accelerating the baby's development at an unknown rate" Kaguya said. Tsunade looked down with her hand on her chin in a thinking posture after hearing what Kaguya said. Suddenly Tsunade's head shot up, "there is a way to slow the process down back to your original gestational period." Tsunade said. "How do we do that granny? Naruto asked as he held Kaguya's hand. "Whenever a female jinchuriki is pregnant the chakra from the tailed beast accelerates the gestational period. There are records of what my grandmother Mito and your mother Kushina had to do when they were pregnant, just let me get the records real quick" Tsunade said as she rushed out of the room to head to the records room of the hospital. When Tsunade left Kaguya turned back to Naruto and she saw the concern on his face. "Why are you concerned Naruto?" Kaguya asked. "I just don't want anything bad to happen to you or the baby," Naruto said as he looked at Kaguya with a loving stare. Kaguya cupped NAruto's cheek and brought herself up to him and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "Don't worry Naruto, everything is going to be fine," Kaguya said as she reassured Naruto. Soon after Tsunade came back with a scroll and a grin and she handed the scroll to Naruto. "I looked at the records of what my grandmother and your mother had to do and I wrote down what you have to do and instructions on how to do it but you only have to do this once so you should it when you get home," Tsunade said as she began to leave but stopped at the door before turning around to face the two expecting parents. "I'm really happy for you two," Tsunade said as she walked out of the room. "I guess you can go," Naruto said. "I guess I can," Kaguya said as she got off the bed and grabbed Naruto's hand and started to walk out of the hospital and down the street. Naruto was thinking about what he should do about a baby as they were walking. "what am I going to do, I don't know how to be a parent, I have no clue what so ever" Naruto said in his head as they continued to walk down the street. As they were walking Kaguya's stomach grumbled. Naruto looked at Kaguya who blushed in embarrassment but Naruto just smiled. "You Hungry Kaguya?" Naruto asked. "I have a craving for Ramen right now," Kaguya said as she looked up at Naruto whos face grew bright as he held Kaguya's hand tighter and started to run to Ichiraku. When they arrived at the Ramen stand Naruto saw his old teammate Sakura and her friend Ino eating there. As he held the flap open for Kaguya to enter Sakura turned around and greeted both of them. "Hey, Kaguya, Hey Naruto, how you been?" Sakura asked as Naruto entered and sat down. "We've been doing pretty good how about you?" Naruto responded as he ordered both Naruto and Kaguya's usuals. "Ever since the end of the war I've been working in the hospital a lot more," Sakura said as she at some ramen before asking, "that reminds me, why were you and Kaguya in the hospital," Sakura said as she turned to look at the two. This piqued Ino's interest and looked over at Naruto and Kaguya, waiting for their answer. "Kaguya threw up earlier and she said she was never sick before so I rushed her to the hospital," Naruto said as he dug into the ramen he just got. Kaguya was staying silent through the entire thing and scarfed down her bowl like she hasn't eaten in days. This surprised Sakura and Ino because they never have seen her eat like that before. "Are you okay Kaguya?" Sakura asked as she placed a hand on her shoulder but immediately retracted it and stared. "Your pregnant!" Sakura said in a borderline shout. Ino just stared while Naruto froze in place bu Kaguya just looked at Sakura with a smile. "Why yes, yes I am," Kaguya said with a smile. Sakura and Ino started to squeal with happiness and talked to Kaguya about babies. By the time they finished there talking it was late so they said their goodbyes and parted ways. As they were walking back to Naruto's house Naruto started to speak up. "Now it's only a matter of time before the whole of Konoha knows," Naruto said with his hands holding the back of his head. "I don't mind it Naruto," Kaguya said. "Naruto looked at Kaguya and thought about what a great mother she was going to make when he heard a noise in the alleyways. He stopped immediately and pulled out a Kunai and got in front of Kaguya protectively. Kaguya looked at NAruto with a worried expression, "What's wrong" Kaguya asked as she stood behind Naruto. "There was a noise coming from the alleyway, I'm going to check it out," Naruto said as he started to head towards the alleyway where he heard the noise. As he got closer he started to hear something he didn't expect... crying. He got closer to the source he saw who was making the noise, "Tatsumi?" Naruto asked. Tatsumi immediately looked up from her position on the ground, "N-naruto Sensei" Tatsumi said and tried to get up but fell back down in a cry of pain. Naruto immediately went to her side and was now fully concerned and worried about his student. "Tatsumi what's wrong, tell me," Naruto said as he held her. "M-my parents" she started as she began to cry again, "t-they beat me," Tatsumi said as she cried. Naruto started to feel rage bubble up inside of himself and felt another feeling rise up as well. It was more like an instinct to protect. Naruto picked Tatsumi up and she winced in pain as he moved out of the alleyway. When Kaguya saw Naruto exit the alleyway her eyes grew in surprise as he came out holding a crying girl she recognized. "Isn't that your student Tatsumi?" Kaguya asked as Naruto walked up to Kaguya. Naruto nodded his head in agreement when he arrived in front of Kaguya. "Can you use your healing Jutsu and heal her please?" Naruto asked. Kaguya nodded and placed her hand on Tatsumi as a green glow started to come from Kaguya's hand and healed Tatsumi. Once that was finished Naruto spoke to Tatsumi again. "Hey Tatsumi, are you okay now?" Naruto asked as he looked at his student. Tatsumi opened her eyes and looked at her Sensei and then at her sensei's girlfriend. "I'm okay, I feel great," Tatsumi said. They then heard shouting coming from in front of them and they looked up to see two people yelling. "Tatsumi where are you," a man said as a woman shouted the same thing. When Tatsumi saw the two people that Naruto and Kaguya assumed to be her parents she jumped out of Naruto's arms and ran behind Kaguya to hide. As the two people made their way down to the three Tatsumi started to whimper from fear. Naruto heard this and got pissed. A parent should never make their own child fear them nor should they beat their child but that's what Tatsumi's so-called parents did. When the man and women arrived in front of Kaguya and Naruto they saw Tatsumi hiding behind Kaguya. "Thanks for finding her, she's been a little trouble today," the man said as he extended his hand out to grab Tatsumi. Naruto grabbed the man's wrist and stopped him from grabbing Tatsumi as Kaguya moved protectively in front of her. "What the hell do you think you're doing," the man asked with anger in his voice. "you are never going to hurt Tatsumi again you piece of human filth," NAruto said in a demonic voice as directed massive amounts of KI towards the man. The man started to cower in fear from the amount of KI directed at him. The man's wife moved towards Naruto but was stopped as Naruto looked at her. "You guys have no right to be parents if all you do is beat your child to the point you break bones," Naruto said in his demonic voice still. "I will send a report to the Hokage about this but you can expect that Tatsumi isn't ever going to go back to you," Naruto said. The two ' parents' looked down in shame as Naruto went over to Tatsumi and picked her up and went home with Kaguya following.
