... 3rd person POV ... Kairi moved out of his moms house. He decided it was time to live on his own. It was a big step for the short boy, but he knew he could handle it. The house was located in a nice neighborhood. He had plenty of room to garden, which he loved. He began to fix his house to his pleasure.
______2 weeks later______
Kairi loved to plant different flowers. Ever since he was a little boy he adored flowers. It was the way they looked. They were all different yet very beautiful. It was the way they needed to be taken care of. He planted many different kinds but his all time favorite were sunflowers.
He opened the small packet that contained the seeds. The beautiful boy started to dig a whole and set the seeds down, he repeated the steps until the seeds were gone. Once he finished he got up and turned his head. The boy saw a tall raven haired boy who was throwing away his garbage. Kairi stood there for a second just admiring his body.
The other boy noticed Kairi's glare, he smiled back at the short boy.
"Holy shit" Kairi said as he let out a sigh.
Kairi was extremely busy for 2 weeks. He was caught up in school and work. He had no time to check on his garden. Thankfully the weekend rolled around. The short boy had on jean shorts and a white shirt. He went to the front of his house and smelled the fresh air.
The boy picked up his gardening tools and sat on the ground. Sadly all his sunflowers were dead, they were brown and sad.
"Your flowers just died!" The Tall boy exclaimed as he watched Kairi plant new ones.
"It's okay I'll plant new ones" Kairi said with a small chuckle.
"Can I help you?" Mattia asked.
"No I'm sorry, I just like to do this by myself" The beautiful boy answered him with a sympathetic smile.
"It's alright I'll leave you alone" Mattia added as he walked into his house.
Mattia thought the boy was incredibly stunning. Something about him stood out him. It could be his perfect figure, his plump lips or his beautiful complexion.
In Kairi's mind he also thought Mattia was beautiful. He was muscular, tan and had god-like features. Although he wanted to get to know the boy, he didn't want a relationship right now in his life. He wanted to take care of himself first and love himself before he could love someone else. Kairi got out of an abusive relationship and wasn't ready to be in a relationship.
Every time the beautiful boy would check up on his sunflowers, surprisingly Mattia would be reading on his porch.
"Planting again sunflower?" Mattia asked as he looked up from his book.
"Of course, this is the way I spend most of my free time" the other boy added as he watered the flowers.
"I want to get to know you, I mean we're neighbors you know" the tall boy claimed as set his book down completely.
"I don't want to make you feel bad but I don't trust anybody that easily to come into my life. I've been through some hard times. Right now I'm just focusing on myself, school and my job. You look very nice but I can't, I'm sorry" The beautiful boy said as he picked up his gardening tools and walked back into his house.
Mattia desired him, he knew he would risk it all for this boy.
"Oh sunflower, sooner or later you'll be my sunflower" Mattia said as he looked at the boy walking away.
