I woke up feeling a lot better then before, the medication working wonders. I don't know what time it is but the sun was setting from what I can see out of the window.

It was just my real parents left in the room, both of them not noticing that I was awake. Embry, Sam, and Paul are nowhere to be found, they probably all went home now that I have my real parents.

I wasn't cold anymore, Paul's sweatshirt and sweatpants doing the trick, and could actually move my body without aches. My real dad noticed that I was awake and walked over to me, "you felling better? You took an 11 hour nap"

I nodded in response to his question, "can I have some water?"

My real dad turned and filled a plastic cup full of water from the sink, then brought it over to me. I quickly drank the water cup and another after my real dad refilled it.

I looked outside again and realized that the sun wasn't setting, but it was rising, I had been here overnight. "What time is it?" I asked, looking around the room for a clock

"It's 6:22 in the morning sweetie, Doctor Cullen said he'd come in at 8:30 and then we can go home" my real mom replied and I nodded, "you're supposed to take these pills as well"

I swallowed the pills that she handed me with some water that my real dad gave me, then laid back down again. "The boys went home for the night if you were wondering, they'll be back at 8 though" my real dad said, sitting back in his seat.

I laid in bed for a few minutes before deciding to try and get some more sleep before going to live with my actual family.

"She woke up around 6:30 but went back to bed a few minutes later" a voice said, being the first thing that I heard when I woke up

"Alright, I'm just going to wake her up and check her temperature and then you can take her home" another voice said before I felt a hand on my shoulder

I opened my eyes to see doctor Cullen standing over me, "can I go home now?" I asked him and he nodded

"As soon as I check your temperature and give you some meds to take home" he responded walking over to grab a thermometer. He took my temperature and nodded a little bit, "you're down to 102.6°, the medication has been working well. I'm going to give you enough to take two pills twice a day leaving 8 hours in between for the next 4 days. I suggest taking them when you wake up and before you go to sleep"

"Alright, thanks" I responded, taking the pill bottle when he handed it to me

"You're all free to go, I'll call your mom in a few days to check how you're doing" director cullen said and my real mom thanked him.

"Come on, sweetie, let's get you home" my real mom said, leading me out of the room

I followed her all the way to the lobby, my real dad filling behind me, where we were met with Embry, Sam, and Paul. "I have your bag of clothes from my house since you're going home" Paul said, holding out my bag for me

"Thanks, and thank you for letting me stay at your house, you didn't have to" I replied after grabbing my bag from him

"It's ok, I wanted to. I'll see you around sometime?" Paul said

"Yeah, of course" I said and he started walking away, "what what about your sweatshirt and sweatpants?"

"Keep them, they look better on you" Paul said, turning around for a second before walking out of the building

"I smell flirting" Embry gagged and Sam laughed

"Yeah, too bad we're never going to let you date anyone little sister, right Embry?" Sam said smiling

"Yeah, you can kiss your love life goodbye" Embry said and my real mom whacked him on the head

"Enough, boys, her live life is not your business" my real mom said sternly

"Haha, she whacked you but not me!" Sam laughed

"Just because you're not my kid and are 21 does not mean that I can't wack you" my real mom said, whacking Sam on his head

"That was my work, I have to drive a truck to Virginia today so I have to go" my real dad said. I hadn't even realized that he was on the phone

"Oh so you're just going to leave her like oh did us?" Sam asked, his face becoming hard

"No, not again, I promise you guys that I'll be in you're lives again, I'm not leaving you guys alone again" my real dad said and my real mom nodded

"That's what you said to me, and look what happened, Embry lived almost 16 years without his father

My real dad grabbed my real moms hands in his, "I promise you, I'll be back, and I'll stay here with you guys when I am"

My real mom nodded again and my real dad dropped her hands. He turned and left the building, leaving just my real mom, Sam, Embry, and me standing there.

"Let's go home, Sam, you can come over if you'd like" my real mom said

"As much as I want to, I can't, I promised Emily that we would look at color schemes for repainting the house today" Sam replied frowning

"Good luck, you'll be there for hours trying to decide with Emily" Embry joked, laughing at Sam

"Yeah, I'll see you guys later, ok?" Sam said and we all nodded.

He left the building and I turned to my real mom and Embry, "who's Emily?"

"Sams fiancé, they're getting married next summer" Embry replied, "I'm one of Sams groomsmen!"

"Yeah, we just have to get you a suit that fits, now let's go home, as a family for the first time" my real mom said and we followed her outside to where a truck was sitting.
