"Alright Kim, you've just got a few cuts here and there which should heal over the next few day and a broken finger. Emily you've got a concussion and some cuts, which will again heal within a few days. And Serena you've got some deep cuts which I bandaged up for you, what I think is a small fracture in your collar bone that needs to be x-rayed, and a concussion" Sue said after checking the three of us for injuries, "I suggest you think of a lie to tell the doctor about what happened to her before you go because they would shame you for not calling an ambulance"

"Uh, alright, she fell down a flight of stairs?" Quil asked bursting into laughter

"Not funny Quil, that was serious" Jake shot at Quil who stopped laughing immediately

"They're going to want to know why there's glass cuts on her and how she fractured her collar bone" Sam said, thinking of ideas

"Oh, how about we were looking in the junkyard for parts and she slipped and fell off a pile?" Paul suggested and everyone nodded

"Alright, that works, we just have to make it look like we were actually at the junkyard." Sam said, "and not all of us can go, so it'll be me, Embry, Paul, and one more person that wants to come"

"Ooh! Ohh! Me! Pick me! Pick me!" Seth said jumping up and down and Sam sighed before nodding at him to come.

"Has your collar bone hurt the entire time we've been here?" Paul asked me, grabbing my hand and pulling me up carefully from my spot on Sams couch

"When she got her" I said after shaking my head

"It's probably all the adrenaline from after the attack, you said she almost fell asleep in the car right?" Sue asked, following us to the car that we rode here in

"Yeah, she couldn't keep her eyes open for more than a few minutes" Paul said and Sue nodded, getting into the passenger seat of the car next to Sam who was driving.

Paul helped me in the middle row of seats, him sitting next to me, with Embry and Seth in the back row. "Alright, so we're going to the junk yard to touch some stuff and get dirty then go to the hospital. Serena, how much pain are you in?" Sam told the group of us

"6" I replied

"6? Out of what?" Embry asked worried

We all, minus Serena and Sue, hopped out of the car and went rummaging through piles of scrap metal. I found a few pieces that I actually thought that I could use, and brought them back to the car. "Serena you need to walk in and touch a few things then you can come back, just so you're a little dirty and if people see us they'll believe the story" I told her and she nodded her head, carefully getting out of the car and following behind me

"Look at that!" Serena said excited, pointing to an old arcade game machine, "I've never seen one in person before!"

"I wonder where this came from!" Seth said, popping his head around a pile of junk near us

"Cool! Look at this! My mom had one of these for a few years before she threw it- before she knocked it off the table" Serena said, correcting herself mid sentence

"She threw her record player?" I asked her, walking over to the record player that she was stood by

"No! No! I told you that she accidentally knocked it off the table!" She said unconvincingly

"What did your mom do Serena? Tell us the truth please" Seth said nicely

"She-, she got mad at me one day because I dropped a glass and it broke. I-it was the closest thing to her and she threw it at me. It landed on my foot and broke it" she stuttered as I began to fill with rage

I started to shake and Seth saw this, grabbing Serena around her waist and hoisting her up, rushing away from where I was about to phase.

"Paul!" Sam yelled as soon as he saw me phase, "what the hell! What happened!"

I growled again as my entire body shook, that witch hurt her, and she was going to pay. I heard Seth explaining to Sam what happened in the background and watched as he handed a mortified Serena to Embry.

I scared the crap out of her, I really fucked up, and she wasn't going to let me near her again. "Paul" Sam commanded, "go home and phase back. You are not to leave the house until I come back, you are not to be around Emily or Kim until I come back. Go to the spare bedroom and sit. Anything broken in that room when I come back you will pay for. Go!"

I bowed my head and took off towards Sams house. Not looking back to where my imprint was shaking in fear because of me.

"Alright, that's enough here. Let's just take her to the hospital and get home. Embry you've got her?" I said, wanting to make Paul run doubles

"Yeah, she's got her eyes closed but she's not asleep, she's traumatized" Embry replied and I nodded, leading the way back to the car

"Where's Paul?" Sue asked when we all were buckled in

"There was a phasing incident. He's back at my house" I replied, taking off towards the hospital in Forks

Once we got to the hospital Embry carried Serena in, Seth and Sue following behind us. I filled out paperwork and then we waited, an hour actually, before Doctor Cullen called for her.

I cringed at his smell as we followed him into a room, and I could tell he was doing everything he could to be in an in closed space with us.

"You said here that she slipped in the junkyard trying to grab something?" He asked us

"Yeah, we had Sue check her out but she thinks that Serena fractured her collar bone" Embry told the leech

"I don't believe it" the leech said, putting the folder on the desk

"What don't you believe? Tell me the truth. There's nobody out there and the doors locked"

"They attacked her. A group of 2, one Leah took care of but the car got totaled during the fight. The second one pulled her out of the car and almost bit her" I told him quietly, knowing that he could hear me

"There's more of them? How would she have broken her collar bone?"

"The car flipped and the leech threw her on the ground. We just need x rays because her imp- because Paul is enraged in my house at something she told him that happened to her"

"Alright, follow me" the leech said, standing up and leading us down the long hallway.
