The Day I Met Him

~Chapter One~

Skylar's P.O.V

"So, you lied to me?" I ask him, tears running down my face.

"No it wasn't a lie... It's just. I found someone else... She's just like me." He told me, sadly.

"That's exactly what you said about me!" I yell at him.

Ok, hold on. This is a bit far. Let me back up to before all this started.

It was back 3 months ago, in November. When I met him on Xbox Live, at 3:00 A.M.

I clear my throat. "Hello?" I ask. No one replies. "Um... Hello?" I ask again.

"Oh, sorry. My headset was off." He finally replies. I chuckle.

"You've played this game before right?" I ask him.

"Uh... No." He said, quietly. I laugh.

"That's ok. All your doing is trying to stay alive by not getting killed by the monster, while collecting tape recorders."

We're playing White Noise. It's a scary game at first but then it kinda just gets boring. (White Noise is an actual Xbox game... Just FYI.)

"Ok. So far we have 4 tape recorders. Things are gonna get scary here pretty soon." I tell him. I hear him groan and can't help but laugh.

"Don't laugh at me, that's mean." He said, jokingly. I just roll my eyes.

"Oh crap!"

"He's here!"

We yell at the same time. I start laughing as we run away. "Isn't this girl supposed to be a freakin jogger? She runs outta breath within 3 seconds!" He said, annoyed.

"I think we're safe... For now." I laugh, evilly.

"Agh, don't tell me that." He said, playfully.

"Hey, what's your name?" I ask him.

"Oh, I'm Zack," He replies. "Yours?"

"I'm Skylar." I said, smiling, even though he can't see it.

All of a sudden the monster pops up in front of us and kills Zack's character. I hear him scream and burst out laughing, then my character dies.

"Well... That... was a fun game." I say, in between laughs. I hear him chuckle.

I send him a friend request and he accepts it almost immediately.

"So, I'm getting off for the night, but maybe we can play tomorrow?" I ask. I just have a feeling that he smiled just now.

"That sounds great." Zack said, softly. I smile and turn my xbox off and head to bed. I start thinking of questions I didn't ask him then I just tell myself to ask him tomorrow, so I slowly drift off into sleep.

The next day, after getting home from a dreadfully long boring day of school, I immediately get on Xbox.

Mom will be home from work in 2 hours so I have plenty of time to play some games.

I log on to Xbox Live, check my friends list to see who's on, and I see Zack, so I invite him to a party.

Zack joins the party and I smile.
"Hey, Zack." I said, happily.

"Hey." He replied.

"Do you have minecraft?"

"Yes, I do."

We both stop what we're doing and go to play minecraft together. I join his world and holy goodness... It was awesome. He started to show me around in his world. He brought me over to a green house, which he made out of glass. He has flowers on the inside of it and some vines. It was really cool. Then he took me to the beach he built.
