I can sense the atmosphere between Genevieve and Luca, and it didn’t help that this cocky bastard was so intimidating. I almost felt sorry for this poor girl and when I asked her what the man looked like she explained what the man did to her and right then I knew that the man was a fucking succubus. I knew how Luca felt about succubus’
and I can feel the rage rolling from him and he growled behind me and he yelled mine and he went up to Genevieve and grabbed her behind her neck and smashed his lips to her and kissed her and when she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back. He lifted her up and wrapped her legs around his waist I smirked at him and
everyone was just looking at them probably expecting him to take her on the table right there an then. Honestly, I was expecting the same thing at his public display of affection. I guess that she realized where she was at and pulled back and looked up at Luca and she let go of him and placed her hand over her mouth and ran to the restroom. Luca looked over his shoulder and I smirked at him and told him
to go get her and make her his. Luca once had a mate but she died centuries ago, and I know that he has been lonely for so many centuries just like me and he too deserved to be happy as well. I was busy trying to find out where Hella could have gone and if any portals had been open and so far nothing came up. Finally, Luca and Genevieve came out hand in hand and judging on her flushed face I knew Luca made her his, cocky son of a bitch.

I wished that I would have taken the time to make sure Hella was
okay and not leave her in the shower back at Mark’s place. I truly regret how I left her and how she thinks of me now. I will have to make it up to her and apologize for how I acted I truly love her so much and I will make sure she knows this every day. When Luca came to sit down with me he had Genevieve sit on his lap and he began to explain what we needed to do. I used my telepathy to communicate
with Luca and asked if she knows what we are, and he shook his head no. I told him that if he is to have a relationship with her she will have to know about us, and it is better that she knows beforehand so that everything is out in the open, no secrets. His face fell at that and he nodded his head in agreement. Genevieve kept watching us with a keen eye and asked if everything was okay and I can see the concerned look in her eyes when she was watching Luca, I can see
that she already cared for him and I see hope for them.

As I was walking with Declan my heart hurt so much, I didn’t want to leave hoping that maybe I could see Xavier one last time even if it was from far away. I asked Declan if I can go by my home to at least change before we left and he allowed me to do so. He was quiet the whole time and would only ask random questions at times and my responses were one worded as I really didn’t want to tell him anything. When I got to my home that is when the scent hit me and I heard Declan growl beside me with accusing eyes and I tried to keep my poker face and look at him in bewilderment. I asked if he was okay and then he straightened his posture and composed himself immediately. I looked around and was so upset because my home was trashed, and I went to my room and closed the door and found some clothes and put them on quickly and I found a pen and paper and
immediately wrote a note hoping Xavier would come back here and find it.

My Dearest Beloved One,

If you are reading this then I am truly sorry for leaving, I thought that you did not want me because I was tainted and dirty with that
human’s filth and how he branded my skin. I love you and have loved you from afar and I am sad that we did not even have the chance to be with one another as I know we would have been happy. I am glad that I at least got to know that you are my mate and I could have not asked for a better mate. I hope that you make that son of a bitch pay for what he did to me.

I have been under the radar for so many years and I was sent here by our oracle telling me that I had to find my mate here on earth and that once I did then I can come back to my realm and rule the underworld with my king beside me. I cried my heart out while writing the letter and it killed me that I had to write this, and I wondered what would Xavier feel once he read this. After I wrote the letter, I placed it underneath my clothes that I took from Mark’s home and walked out of my room and went to Declan and told him that I am ready. A sorrowful look passed Declan’s face and he said that he wished that my going home would be under different circumstances and he wished that I had found my mate. I told him that I wished I found my mate as well and a tear slipped down my cheek. He wiped my tears away and said let’s go home now. My heart hurt so much and as much as I didn’t want to leave, I knew I had to go and meet my fate.
