After cleaning up the mess they made while cooking, Tsuki set down a cup of tea for her father.
"Here papa." Tsuki smiled, as her father took a sip of the tea.
"Thanks sweetie." as the group in the dining room was peacefully enjoying the quiet morning until Yoshino burst into the dorm yelling.
"EVERYONE WAKE UP!" Yoshino yelled, bursting into the dining room. "Big news!"
Everyone in the dining room was looking at the bun haired girl as she was panting. She looked up to see a lot of the Polar Star Dorm in the dining hall so early. "Were you guys doing something?"
Megumi was a bit surprised at the outburst as she looked to the girl. "U-um yeah... Joichiro-san, Soma-kun and Tsuki-chan had a cooking contest..."
Yoshino was shocked at the news as she started yelling even louder. "No fair! Call me over next time!"
"S-sorry Yuuki-chan.." Megumi apologized as Tsuki spoke up, still holding the tea kettle.
"What's the big news Yoshino-chan?" Tsuki smiled as Yoshino started waving a brown envelope.
"It came this morning! The Autumn Election's themes for the preliminaries!" Yoshino yelled. Soma took the envelope from her as he, Tsuki, Megumi and Yoshino crowded around the envelope. Soma slowly opened the envelope, as he pulled out the paper.
"The theme is..." Megumi said. "Curry....Dish?"
After they had unveiled the theme, they had set the paper on the table as the four of them started thinking about what the theme had meant.
"Are they saying to just make curry?" Soma asked, as Tsuki shook her head.
"But it's a curry dish nii nii so that leaves a lot of possibilities. Curry rice as well as things that could go well with curry also works." Tsuki explained as Yoshino nodded.
"Let's not forget about curry udon and curry stew.. on top of being around all those VIP guests... you can't make anything too ordinary." Yoshino explained more. "Speaking of which, Fumio-san, can I leave my chickens with you for a few days?"
"Yoshino-chan are you going somewhere?" Tsuki asked, as the girl nodded.
"Autumn is wild game season! I'll be going back to my hometown to the hunting club to grab some ingredients!" Yoshino cheered. "Ryoko and Ibusaki said they'd be going home to plan things for the time being."
"I see... Megumi-chan what about you?" Tsuki asked the bluenette.
"I haven't really made curry outside of home or research society..."
"I see... Pops got anything?" Soma asked his father.
"We had a girl in the Polar Star Dorm.. The one who made curry... What's she doing now?" Joichiro asked as he stroked his chin.
"Ah that girl? She's a teacher at Totsuki now." Fumio explained.
"Eh a teacher?" Soma asked.
"She teaches second year classes so it's understandable if you don't know about her. Jun Shiomi, one of the members of the Polar Star's Golden Era. She's the youngest one in history to be selected as a professor." Fumio explained.
"And she was my junior in the Polar Star Dorm. I looked after her a lot. So if you mention my name, I'm sure she'll help you." Joichiro smiled.
"Really? Then let's go, Tadokoro, Tsu!" Soma cheered as the two girls nodded and headed off to change. As they were heading up the stairs to their rooms, Megumi smiled to the twins.
