Returning Home

Everyone had left Yukihira shortly after lingering for a few hours from the tournament, celebrating Tsuki's victory, Erina was staying behind as she brought her paperwork for the Elite Ten to finish. Soma had just finished cleaning up the kitchen as he sat down in front of Erina. "Now then... It's Winter Break and we're finally free so.." Soma smiled as he leaned in closer to Erina.

"GYAA!" Erina screamed as she slapped Soma.

"..Huh?" Soma was confused, holding a hand to his cheek. "Why did it turn out like this? I just wanted to give you my newest dish Nakiri, why are you acting like this?"

"And I don't want to!" Erina yelled. "Are you an idiot!?"

"What?!" Soma was confused. "I come back after 9 months after traveling around the globe and I get nothing from you?"

"I already ate your dish earlier." Erina argued. "Isn't that enough? I'm busy here doing Kii-chan's and YOUR work."

"...Tsu probably isn't coming back in a few days." Soma sighed. "Ah... Will I even stay for that long?" Soma messed up his hair in frustration.

Erina pouted as she went back to doing work. Now that Soma was back after so long, Erina was defensive.

Meanwhile, Tsuki was at the airport, with Aoi, Blake, and Asahi. Tsuki and Tsukasa were to head back today as Asahi drove her to the airport. "Tsuki." Asahi called out to the girl with a sad smile on his face.

"Thanks again for driving me A-chan! Eishi went back to his family so I was a bit worried on how to get back." Tsuki thanked her old friend. "Will you be coming back to Japan soon?"

"U-uh, yeah!" Asahi stammered slightly before collecting himself. "I just have to make sure these two kids are doing alright and their paperwork for their transfers back to Totsuki is in order. I'll be back in Japan in a few weeks probably. Just on time for your graduation."

"I'll be there. I promise." Asahi promised.

"Yeah, then I can see you more often Tsuki-senpai!" Blake smiled, hugging Tsuki tightly like a child. "After you graduate, make sure to visit me and Aoi lots?"

"Mhm. I'll try." Tsuki nodded. "You two are always welcome by Yukihira's for a bite. You as well A-chan."

"I'll take you up on that offer. It's been a while since I had any" Asahi smiled as he could see Tsukasa coming up from behind Tsuki.

"I wonder if something happened last night." Tsukasa thought, as he was holding something in his hand. "Mother didn't say a word after Tsuki won... she just handed me this. Whatever, she'll be really happy to get this."

"I can't wait... to talk to Tsuki."

"Oh it's-" Aoi spoke up as Asahi quickly cut him off.

"Hey Tsuki?" Asahi motioned for Tsuki to come closer to him as the girl came close. Asahi leaned forward as he pecked the girl on the cheek.

"Your sweets were delicious. Thank you." Asahi smiled. "Get back safely alright?"

"Y-yeah..." Tsuki nodded bashfully. "You three be safe as well."

"See you later, Tsuki." Asahi smiled. "Don't think too much of it. It's just a normal French greeting."

Tsuki waved as the three drove off before Tsuki turned back to see Tsukasa with a pout on his face. "Awh." Tsuki giggled as she took Tsukasa's free hand. "Are you that jealous? I thought you and A-chan made up?"

"A bit... but I still don't forgive him fully." Tsukasa said as he held Tsuki's hand. "Let's head home together." Tsukasa smiled as he kissed the back of Tsuki's hand.
