"Congrats everyone on working hard for this year's Autumn Elections. It was a big hit this year." Erina complimented the Elite Ten who looked exhausted, albeit Soma, from the pile of paperwork they had to do for the past few days.
"We have potentially new people joining the Elite Ten next year to replace Isshiki-senpai, Nene-senpai and Kuga-senpai." Takumi looked at the papers. "Especially with how close this year's Autumn Elections finalists are."
"Oh you're talking about Hikari-chan and Kirumi-kun right?" Tsuki saw the papers.
"Oh you know them Tsuki?" Hayama looked at Tsuki. "Seiren Hikari and Amami Kirumi... they're both from Fukuoka, Japan."
"Mhm, I think Hikari-chan told me they were childhood friends. We had a few run ins from time to time but I watched the entire final match! I really thought Kirumi-kun was going to win but Hikari-chan's dish winning was amazing to see!" Tsuki was proud of her underclassmen, especially since she remembered the two as the ones who wanted a picture with her earlier in the year. "Next year's Elite Ten will be fun to observe."
"Now we have to start preparing for the Stagiaire and the Momiji Leaf Viewing as well as the Moon Festival." Erina cut in.
Erina seemed to have lightened up after the events of BLUE. Mana hadn't fully returned to live at the Nakiri mansion yet but Erina occasionally cooked for her, since Asahi declined, making Erina the personal chef for Mana.
"Ugh... I forgot what a drag stuff like this was.." Kuga sighed. "Tsuki-chin! Can you be a dear?"
"Of course Kuga-senpai." Tsuki smiled brightly as she disappeared to the kitchen to make tea for all the Elite Ten members.
"A-ah I can help you out Tsuki-san... I'd hate to give you all the work of making drinks for everyone.." Hisako followed after Tsuki. "You're supposed to be resting... are you sure it's alright for you despite... what happened at the Team Shokugeki?"
"Hm? If you're worried you're free to join me. I'd love the help Hishoko-chan." Tsuki smiled. "I was thinking today's drink should be..." Tsuki no longer had Asahi's locket around her neck, as both the bracelet and locket had been destroyed by Asahi. Despite it had only been a month since the entire ordeal with Asahi at the airport, without the locket around her neck... it still felt like something was missing.
As the two assistants' voices were getting softer, Erina looked to the two as she had a smile towards them. She had been a little worried about Tsuki when she seemed glum for the first few days after Asahi had left Japan. But... she seemed to have cheered up since then. Erina looked around the round table as she noticed something that irked her... specifically Soma eating bread in the middle of their meeting.
"What do you think you're doing Yukihira-kun?" Erina asked as she crossed her arms.
"I'm... eating bread?" Soma answered with his mouth half full before swallowing his bite of bread. "I skipped breakfast to be here..."
"Our meeting was supposed to start at 11 AM! That's plenty of time to eat!" Erina yelled as Soma yawned. "Even Kii-chan managed to come on time and fully rested! She's the one doing your paperwork!"
"I was up late last night cooking..." Soma yawned. "I have a Shokugeki in a few days you know.."
"Why are you eating bread for breakfast anyways?!" Erina scolded. "Don't you know it's best to get a nutritious breakfast! Bread isn't a breakfast!"
"Huh? You eat rice for breakfast Erina?" Alice asked. "Ryo and I eat bread for breakfast back at home."
"Huh?!" Erina was shocked to hear.
