Dinner Time

*Adrians POV*

I sat across from my father while my princess sat on my right. "So today we are having ribs with macaroni and cheese, carrot and peas with a salad on the side," I looked up and smiled at my mother. "Looks delicious thank you mother," she smiled in response and started digging in. I turned to my little girl who was already stuffing her face with ribs. Making a mess on her face and hands. I chuckled and started with my macaroni. "So Miss Riley do you have a job?" I looked at my father in shock. "No my daddy takes care of me and I go to work with him," my father looked at me in disappointment which rose a bit of anger in me. Before I could speak my father quickly spoke. "Do you plan on getting a job or just living off of my son?" "Father," I said with a very stern and angered tone. Riley then set her hand on mine. "I actually was thinking about it, I have a diploma for teaching so I might look into that," I looked at my little girl surprised. She gave me a look which told me she'll explain later. "May I ask what you do Lilian?" My Mother was surprised at this question. "oh I'm a author of many books," "oh really, I loooove books," this brightened both my princess and my mothers faces. "So do I and being an author makes me very happy with just expressing emotion in my books," "that sounds amazing," as Riley and my mother went back and forth I glance every once in a while at my father. He's either staring at Riley as if trying to read her mind or averts his eyes to his food as if he wasn't just staring at me just a second ago.

With everything going on I barely notice an extra made plate next to me. "Mom who's plate is this," everyone went silent. My mother had a very guilty look on her face. I turned to my dad who just kept eating at ease. "Who's plate is that?" "Don't raise your voice, she'll be here," "she?" Suddenly the doorbell rang. My father quickly got up and went to answer it. What's going on? My father opened the door and hugged the person there. Suddenly She walked in. "Hi Ms.Lilian," my mother greeted her with a hug as well. Then She turned to me. "It's good to see you again Adrian.

*Riley's POV*

This girl walked in. She was wearing a white crop top with a red short skirt. Long black hair and dark eyes. I bet they're black. She then speaks to my daddy. I look at daddy to see what he does but his face froze with the look of anger. I have a baaaad feeling about her. She then sits down on the other side of my daddy and doesn't even notice me. "Aw Adrian you haven't touched your salad here," she then got a fork and collected some salad onto the fork and motioned it to daddy's mouth. Suddenly I was filled with more rage then I've ever had and with just a glimpse I saw daddy's father enjoying this. Before I could say anything Adrian grabbed this girls wrist and pushed her away. "Son you will not be rude," "WHY IS SHE HERE YOU KNOW I DONT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HER,ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND ARE LEAVING," then she spoke "oh baby your calling me your girlfriend again," "NOT YOU YOU SLUT HER, SHES MY GIRLFRIEND," daddy then looked at me. He got straight out of his chair and brought out his hand. "Common baby we're going," I grabbed his hand and we walked towards the door. I looked back to see that girl and daddy's  father glaring at me. Daddy's mother seemed sad and waved goodbye. I waved back at went out the door with daddy.

  Daddy opened the door for me and I sat in the car. He buckled me up and went to his side. He quickly turned on the car and drove right off. For the rest of the time we drove in silence as daddy drove with his left hand and I cuddled his right arm trying to make his feel a little better. I don't think he wants to talk about it right now so I'll just try to make him feel better on the way home. The rest of the ride I cuddled daddy's arm then sing to baby shark and other songs. Daddy sang along with me on "your welcome," from moana. I loves my Disney songs.
