Mermaids may have been mysterious and shut-off from the rest of the world, but they had plenty in common with everyone else. They weren't just a bunch of savage animals but had quite the order and system in place.

In mer-society, the females dominated all fields since there were more of them than males. Females were the hunters, the scavengers, and the leaders while the men were mainly used for reproduction and maintenance. However, if a hunt became too deadly, the mermen were used as a more brute force if the hunters had trouble.

This was the case when the hunters encountered not just a Drache leader, but an actual dragon. Once Izuku heard the call for aid, he quietly swam to see what the trouble was all about. He saw his sisters fend off against the enemy, managing to see Jirou angrily holding her bleeding nose and Mina clutching her midsection where a large cut was.

He grimaced at the sight, swimming towards them until an explosion was set off near him causing him to fret away. He was always weak compared to other males, and when it came to fighting he could never do it, cowardly swimming towards the rocky shallows of the shore. Combat was never Izuku's main attribute, opting to simply enjoy reading or tending to plants, this only caused him to face severe backlash from others.

If it weren't for him being of high standing, he would've already been chastised for going against his own societal role. Today, however, he would rewrite that and vowed to prove his worth and position in his pod. He thought up of a plan to ambush an enemy when they're off guard, then as if by the grace of the Lunar Goddess herself, he acquired a fresh scent of blood.

He followed his instinct and stealthily swam towards it, noticing a young man clutching at his stomach. Izuku found himself somewhat intrigued by the person, with his two-toned hair, his left red and the other white. As he steadily got closer he noticed he had different eyes too, and quite the scar on the left one.

'Is that normal?' Izuku asked himself, never expecting the first living human he'd encounter be so peculiar. As Izuku continued examining his soon-to-be first kill, a loud roar startled him as he shivered lightly. The merman glanced up to the sky to see the ferocious dragon roaring loudly, the boy's eyes widening as he saw it going straight for the lighthouse.

Once he got to land, Bakugo began to bark orders and unleash a couple of explosions out of his palms to any creature that got too close. 'This is too damn much, we're outnumbered.' He grunted to himself, noticing how some mermaids even had weapons.

The men that were holding up the nets found themselves in the center of the onslaught, some impaled by thrown spears or knocked out by rocks. Bakugo noticed how Kirishima wasn't much help since he'd be risking burning their crew as well if he chose to breathe his fire, so he quickly thought up a place to dispersed the angry fish people.

With Aizawa and Iida doing their best to hold off the mers at the port, Bakugo went to shout and wave down the crimson dragon. Once it got his attention Kirishima came flying down, quickly shifting before he landed since he didn't really fit.

"Bakugo it's crazy out there! There's so many, and my flames aren't even working at this point!" Kirishima pleaded, wanting to just go home and eat some chicken. Kaminari and Sero came rushing up towards the duo, exclaiming similar worries.

"Don't go ahead and disrespect our people idiot, we never back down from a fight!!" Bakugo shouted, "I have a plan, might not work but it's our last chance really."

"What are you waiting for!? Tell us!" Kaminari begged, shivering in his boots from all the commotion.

"Simple, a whole lot of explosions!" Bakugo replied proudly, grinning at the other three. The plan was easier said than done, Kaminari and Sero were to assemble the remaining explosives they had and prepare to hurl them out into the busied waters. Whilst, Bakugo on top of Kirishima will make an even bigger one, how? Simple, by exploding the lighthouse of course!
