Unnoticed Changes
●▬▬▬▬▬๑⇩⇩๑▬▬▬▬▬●Once nightfall came, the group's relaxing period came to an abrupt end, as Shigaraki already demanded them to make their way outside. Izuku was currently tying the cloak around his neck when Dabi came out of the bathroom.
"Are you finished, yet? Knowing Shigaraki, he'd probably rip our necks if we're late or waste any more time." He commented, walking towards the door until his hand was on the knob, waiting for the mer to catch up.
"Uh—give me a second," Izuku stated hurriedly, simply snatching his shoes and shoving them on. He was too much in a hurry that he didn't even have time to tie them properly, resulting in his laces lazily hanging on the floor. "—Okay, I'm ready!" He responded, making his way towards the other.
Dabi simply nodded and twisted the knob, the duo proceeding to encounter the remainder of their group as they made their way out of the establishment. Izuku, surprisingly, was the only one who waved goodbye to the shop-owners and took one last cat-shaped cookie before exiting with the others.
The group was pretty dispersed, perhaps to not draw much attention, but even so their mostly black clothing blended with the shadows almost identically. The mer simply followed, a bit curious about where they were even going, to begin with, Dabi only saying his guess was as good as his own. The statement didn't do much for answering the boy's questions, but it would've been pointless to press further.
It was clear Shigaraki was the presumed leader of the group but didn't do much when it came to leading. Back home, leaders were cooperative and valued communication with their respective groups, not treating them in a disregarding manner. Izuku wanted to ask his acquaintance, why he even chose to join a childish person, but he feared he'd get his tongue cut off for treason or something.
Nevertheless, he continued strolling by Dabi's side, occasionally glancing at his surroundings. For a moment, he could've sworn he saw a man with an enormous tail inspecting the ground, but after the next turn, he lost sight of him.
Everything was going well, until the boy made a dire choice of stepping on his shoelace, tumbling forward. Thankfully, Dabi managed to yank him up by the arm, but Izuku already was crouching on the floor.
"Geez, are you sure you know how to walk?" He mocked, earned a weak punch to the side from the other. "I'll give you a couple of moments to fix up, we'll be in the woods." He stated, continuing his walk towards the tree-line.
"Ugh, whatever," Izuku mumbled in response, crouching down to tie his shoelaces. While doing so, he heard passing footsteps accompanied by tired panting, though Izuku didn't think much of it as he already stood up and jogged slightly into the forests.
__________Shoto wandered through the town aimlessly, he really didn't know where to begin in searching for the others. 'Maybe I shouldn't have run off like that' He came to the conclusion of, scratching his head lightly as he walked into the town.
Though his questions were answered when he heard some distant shouting, the prince curiously followed the sound until it got louder. His instincts lead him to the outside of an odd-looking building, staring confusedly at the peculiar sign on the front.
'Wild, Wild Pussycats Inn? That's one way to stand out.' He thought to himself, continuing his observation until he heard another set of ruckus from within the building. The prince warily approaching the door and peaking it up to peer onto the scene unfolding within.
"Look at it, it's so fluffy! He's like a walking tabby-cat, you'll be perfect!!" The blonde girl squealed excitedly, hugging Ojiro's tail excitedly as the boy stood there both awkwardly and embarrassed. "I'll begin the courting ceremony by tomorrow, don't worry about expenses!"
