This chapter contains blood, murder and death.

--

All three men were sitting in front of the coffin, none of them daring to look up for their own reasons. Even if the whole room was completely silent, you could still hear the loud thoughts of everyone that were present.

Doyoung looked up. He glanced at the coffin of his now dead friend. If only he thought faster...if only he had prevented him from going out that day...Yuta would still be alive. The man knew why Yuta ended up in jail, as well as the relationship he had with his parents. This was the reason that none of his family members showed up at the funeral...

He wanted to tell them the truth...but maybe Yuta wouldn't want that. There was a reason he kept it a secret from them. To not make them feel guilty? To prevent them from blaming themselves? Or maybe because Yuta didn't want to know their reaction, after they learned that their son was involved with some dirty business and ended up in jail because of that?

Whatever the reason was it didn't matter.

Not now at least.

Doyoung's lips trembled and he bit his bottom lip nervously. He always managed to control his emotions, but not this time...He couldn't hold it back anymore.

The man recalled some of Yuta's sentences:

"What would you do...if I told you that I know who Simon is?"

"I think I'm next.."

Yuta had said that he thought he was the next victim after Haechan's funeral...how could he know that eventually he would die?

He knew who Simon was...or...at least who would kill him.

"Even if you're next, I won't let anything happen to you." Was what Doyoung had told him.

Yuta only replied with a smile and said: "Don't make promises you won't be able to keep."

He knew...

He really knew...

A small tear managed to escape from Doyoung's eyes, rolling down his cheek.

"Yuta..." He thought and clenched his fists, grabbing the material of his trousers tightly.

"I'm sorry..."

--

"Doyoung..." Taeil said quietly and looked at him with a worried expression on his face.

"Yes?" Doyoung asked and faced the other man walking, as all of them had just exited the church and were heading back, returning to their own lives.

"Are you ok?"

Doyoung looked down and tried to smile. "Yes..." He answered and looked at Taeil again. "I think I will be fine."

"Ok then..."

The men continued walking but Taeil stopped. "I have to go that way." He answered. "The bus stop is located on that road.

"I have to go this way too." Johnny said and Doyoung's gaze turned at him. "Looks like he will be going together."

Taeil's soft expression changed to an annoyed and irritated one. "Seems like it.." He replied.

"Then I will continue alone." Doyoung answered and smiled. "See you later guys." And after that statement he continued walking on his own, heading back to his house.
