I was up holding King who I had just put back to sleep. Again like usual he woke up screaming and crying. Kai must be in a deep sleep though because he seemed to not hear him.
Then my phone buzzed and I seen I got a text from Demarion. We were still cool, just friends. I respected him and his girl and he respected me and Kai.
He had sent me a text asking me could I go over to his house. I looked at Kaizer then back at the text.
Should I ask first?
Chewing on my bottom lip I sighed shaking Kaizer a little bit. Of course he didn't wake up so I gave him a hard slap on his back.
"What do you need Dream?" He asked still half sleep.
"Uh Dede texted me saying could I come over to his house, can I go real quick?" I asked and he opened one eye.
"No, you can go to sleep tho." He said and I sighed.
"Kai please, I'll just be over there for like 10 to 15 minutes." I said.
"No." He said.
"Kaizer please?" I begged.
"Why you wanna go so bad?" He asked.
"He is my friend Kai, can I just go for 5 minutes?" I asked.
"Didn't I say no? Why you still going on bout the shit? You not going nowhere." He said and I huffed.
"And I don't give a damn bout you being mad." He mumbled.
"I'll just s-"
"A'dream if you try to sneak out thi- you know what I'm up now." He said sitting up.
"You done pissed me off." He said taking King from me.
"Why I can't go? I'm not gonna do anything. We friends, he respects you. Just like I respect his girlfriend." I said.
"Why you wanna go so bad? See I'm starting to think you want sum from him." He said and I smacked my lips.
"Really Kai? I literally fought, damn near died to get yo ass back. I finally gotchu, you think imma just pass this up? I'm never letting this go again. Worked my ass off to get here again. I'm not gon do no dirty shit. I promise." I said.
He stared at me for a minute before nodding.
"Ight, I trust that. You can go, for ten minutes then come back." He said and I nodded.
