When she was yanked back, he felt all sorts of rage bubble within him. Joker stood, creepy as ever, with a gun to her head. But what shocked Damian, was her face. She didn't seem afraid at all. In fact, she only seemed dazed and tired. She went limp in the clown's arms. Trembling with rage, the vigilante didn't hesitate to pull out a dagger. He didn't see the almighty Batman behind him. Joker smirked and stepped forward.

"R-Robin no!" Marinette was too late to warn him. He slit the maniacs throat, and blood poured out of his neck. He quickly grabbed Marinette and pulled her out of harm's way into his arms. She was still barely concious.

"Robin, what have you done?" Batman angrily snapped as he leant down to the clown. There was still a pulse. Batman applied pressure to the wound and called an ambulance. Marinette groggily picked her head up, only for her eyes to roll to the back of her head. Her temperature was warm.

"Batman, I'm taking her to the cave. She can't hold herself up." Batman nodded.

"I will speak to you back at the cave. I'm very dissapointed in you Robin. We will dicuss your punishment later." Damian felt his heart shatter even more so than when he lost his love.

"I- I'm sorry I didn't-" The man cut his son off with a glare. Damian turned around and walked out to his bike. He gingerly placed her in front of him, so she wouldn't fall off. "I'm so sorry Marinette, I never wanted this to happen love." He drove like a bat out of hell, (haha, get it? I seriously need to go to sleep.) and it felt as if hours had passed until he reached the cave. He sped in, ignoring Dick's questions, and ran her into the med bay.

"PENNYWORTH!" he shouted. She was burning up. The butler quickly walked in and analyzed her injuries.

"Master Damian, please with all due respect, get out. I need space to work. The faster you leave, the faster I can help her." Damian felt tears well up in his eyes (actual tears. IKR?) he looked up at the real grandfather figure he had all these years.

"I already lost her once. If I lose her again, I don't know what I would do with myself." Alfred rolled his eyes,

"Save the dramatics Master Damian. She will be fine as soon as I can figure out what toxin she was injected with, and I can't do that with you breathing down my neck." Damian stomped out of the room. Alfred sighed. "Tikki, would you mind coming out and telling me how to help your holder?" the little kwami flew out and landed on her charge's head.

"I will just need something to help me recharge after I cure her." Alfred pulled a cookie out of his pocket and smiled at Tikki.

"It may have been a while, but I still remember how hungry my Dussuu used to get."

Timeskip:

"Damian sit down. You know Alfred can take care of her and she will be back to normal soon." Damian glared at Tim.

"Drake, you are such a-" Dick cut him off.

"Damian, sleep. Go upstairs to bed or else I won't let you skip school to hang out with Marinette tomorrow." Damian glared at him with great fury but ran upstairs back to the house. Tim laughed. "Tim, you go to bed as well." Tim scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Bruce gave me the day off. I'm perfectly-"

"WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SISTER?!?!" the door to the cave slammed open. Tim and Dick both winced. Bruce stormed in after Jason.

"JASON. STOP BREAKING ALL THE DOORS IN THE MANOR DEMANDING TO SEE YOUR SISTER. SHE IS BEING TREATED RIGHT NOW!" he trained the 'batglare' on his son. Jason turned around and punched him in the face.

"WHAT THE FUCK JASON?" Dick ran over to Bruce. Bruce waved off his oldest and swiftly knocked Jason's feet out from under him.

"WHAT THE HELL BRUCE?" he dove at the old man and the two went tumbling on the floor. Marinette, who surprisingly woke up due to all the noise, banged on the glass wall of the infirmary. Alfred had a worried look on his face. The two men stopped fighting.
