Adeliah’s POV

The ringing bells and the Christmas songs filled in the small town of Cheshire. People were going crazy for last-minute shopping. Yes, today was Christmas, the most excited day of the year. I’ve already got my present for Harry. It wasn’t anything expensive but I made it myself and I really hoped he’d like it.

Although everybody were eager for this time of the year to come, I couldn’t help but wanting to stop time from moving. The end of December was approaching, that means my time with Harry was slowly ending. Plus, Harry was practicing for his X- Factor audition, we still meet each other but just not as much anymore.

My mum and Harry’s family have decided to join together for a dinner tonight. I haven’t told Harry that I was moving to America yet but the time will eventually come. I obviously want us to last longer. My mum was taking care of the dessert, she was making a classic chocolate cake.

“Adeliah, you should get changed now. This cake is almost ready.” My mum said.

“I’ll get ready.” I replied.

I changed into my red, long-sleeved dress. It fitted to my body then flares out. I paired them with a pair of black flats and put on some light makeup. I got downstairs and saw my mum waiting for me at the couch. I saw the chocolate cake put into the cake tin and grabbed it carefully.

“I got the cake. Can you grab the presents?” I asked my mum.

“Yeah, sure. Wait for me in the car, dear.” She replied.

When I opened the door, the winter air nearly turned me into a giant glacier. I got to the car as fast as possible and sat on the front seat, clutching the chocolate cake. My mum opened the door and hopped into the driver’s seat. We drove in silence to Harry’s house.

My mum knocked on the door and we were greeted with a very happy Anne and Robin.

“Merry Christmas!” They greeted us in unison.

“Merry Christmas.” My mum and I said back.

“You could put your cake there in the fridge, Adeliah.” Anne said.

“Okay!”

After putting the cake into the fridge, I saw Harry and Gemma playing video games with each other in the living room.

“Adeliah! You’re here!” Harry literally dropped the video games controller and ran towards me.

“Urgh, you love birds.” Gemma said, rolling her eyes jokingly.

I laughed, “Hey Harry! Hi Gemma!”

Harry gave me a kiss on the lips. “Go get a room you two!” Gemma said.

The three of us laughed out loud.

“Can we go to my room now?” Harry asked.

“But, is dinner starting soon?” I looked over to the kitchen and I saw a turkey was being taken out of the oven.

“Pleeease?” Harry pleaded.

“Fine, we’ll go to your room.” I gave in and quickly grabbed my presents and headed upstairs with Harry.

“Alright, I’d like you to close your eyes.” He said.

I quickly closed my eyes. I heard some noises until Harry said, “Ta-dah!”

I opened my eyes and saw it. A silver necklace with a golden heart pendant. Inside the golden heart was the letter “A”.

“Open the heart.” Harry quietly said.

I touched the heart and opened it. I smiled when I saw a letter “H” inside of it.

“So this means you’ll always have me in your heart.” He said and then put the necklace on me.

It was so beautiful and thoughtful. “Thank you, Harry. I love it!”

He chuckled, “I’m glad you liked it.” He then gave me a kiss on the lips.

“Now, it’s my present!” I took out my present and handed it to him.

For this Christmas, I decided to give him my 52 reasons of why I love him. Since a deck of cards have 52 cards, I wrote one reason on each card. I punch holes into each card and then clipped them together to make a little notebook for Harry.

“This is amazing. Thank you, Adeliah. I love you.” He was smiling so bright. His green eyes were sparkling.

“I love you too.” I replied.

Then Harry’s hand went under my dress and up to my waist. I gave him a smirk and leaned into him and gave him a kiss. Things eventually got out of control and we ended up lying on the bed, breathing heavily.

Suddenly, I heard Anne’s voice called, “Dinner time!”

We stared at each other, smiling. “Merry Christmas, baby.” His raspy voice turned me on even more.

“Merry Christmas.” I kissed him on the lips.

Oh, and the dinner was nice too.

n/: I know I'm late but Happy New Year guys!!! Love ya'll. <3
