Chapter 11

Forth's pov:

I woke up in the middle of the flower field.

Hey. I heard kai's voice.

I turned to the side and saw him standing near me.

"So what should i do?" I asked after getting up.

First of all we need to work on strengthening your body. It's too weak. Your are barely able to handle the shift and some running. He said.

I nodded.

I need you to concentrate and gathering your mana. Imagine that gold dust you saw before and gather it around yourself. Gather as much as you can. He instructed.

I closed my eyes and recalled that gold dust i saw kai using before. I then imagined that a big amount of it was swirling around me. I slowly kept increasing the amount until i could feel that i couldn't gather anymore.

When i opened my eyes i could see a huge amount of gold dust-or mana as kai called it- had gathered around me. It reached like 5 miles radius around me.

Woah. You're doing a lot better than i thought you would. I didn't think you would be able gather this much at the first try. Kai said amazed.

"What should i do now?" I asked.

Now you concentrate on absorbing all that mana into your body. Imagine it getting strengthened. Starting from the fingertips down to thr last nerve in your body. But don't rush. Go slow. Or your body might break. He instructed.

I again closed my eyes and concentrated on absorbing all the mana. I started with my fingertips and worked my way up. Focusing on every bone and muscle one by one. Moving on when i think its been strengthened enough.

By the time i was done with all the parts, i felt a lot stronger than before.

I opened my eyes and looked at kai. He looked completely astonished.

"Kai? What is it?" I asked.

You actually did it!? He yelled.

"What... Did you want me to fail?" I narrowed my eyes at him.

No of course not! But that wasn't a small amount of mana you just absorbed! I thought it would take at least a few more tries before you succeeded. I didn't think you would be able to do it in the very first try. He said.

" Oh really? I didn't find it hard tho. It was actually quite easy. Especially since i took a small amount each time and focused on one part at a time." I scratched my head.

At this rate, you might be able to learn all the spells easily within one night even. He mumbled.

I blinked. "Is that possible?"

I didn't think it was but after seeing the rate at which you just absorbed all that mana and strengthened your body successfully i think it is. He explained.

I nodded excitedly. But then frowned.

What is it? He asked.

"My body only got stronger. But i still don't know how to fight." i said.

Yeah that's true. Do you want me to teach you? He suggested.

"Can you? I would love to learn. Only knowing spells would be kind of a disadvantage in certain situations." I got excited again

You're right. Ok I'll teach you the moves i know. We have a lot of time anyway. We have been here for only half an hour. Kai said.

I nodded enthusiastically.
