Chapter 40

Forth's pov:

When i woke up, it was already morning.

I was nestled protectively in Pha's arms with my face against his neck.

I slowly looked up at him.

He was sleeping peacefully.

I could feel Kai was also contented.

A smile formed on my face.

It's been so hectic for the last few days. Now it's finally over.

I still felt tired but it wasn't that bad.

I stayed like that for a while before Pha started shuffling.

He blinked a few times before looking down.

He looked like he was still half asleep.

"Good morning." I smiled.

He pulled me closer and buried his face in my hair.

I chuckled.

"Finally.... It's over.... You have no idea how scared i was for the past few days..." He mumbled.

I gently rubbed his back.

Not only him but you scared the shit out of me as well. Especially when you sent me back when we fought them. Kai grumbled.

"Yes yes I'm sorry. My bad." I chuckled.

We stayed like that for a while before Pha sat up with me in his arms. 

"How do you feel?" He asked. 

"A little tired but it's not that bad." I answered. 

"I'm starving though." I added after a few seconds. 

He chuckled. 

"Let's take a shower and get some food then. I'm also really hungry." He pulled me to stand and we went into the bathroom. 

We went to the dining room after we finished.

Mom and dad were sitting at the table.

"Good morning." Mom smiled when she saw us.

"Good morning." We smiled back.

"Come on let's eat." She pointed at the chairs infront of her.

After we finished eating Pha and I headed to the terrace.

"FORTH!" I heard my name being yelled.

I turned around just in time to catch Kit and Yo.

"Woah! Careful!" I managed to hold myself up before we fell.

"We're so glad you came back safe." They mumbled and tightened their arms around me.

"I can't leave you guys now can i?" I chuckled.

They looked up at me and smiled widely.

Ming and Beam came up behind them.

"They've been dying to see you since yesterday when we told them you two came back." Beam chuckled.

"You guys completely forgot about me huh?" Pha pouted while looking at Kit and Yo.

"We didn't forget about you p'pha." They laughed and hugged him tightly.

"Where are you guys headed by the way?" Ming asked.

"Forth said he wanted to take me somewhere." Pha looked at me.
