It's the fourth quarter, fourth down,and were down by 3. The crowd is roaring, the cheerleaders are nervously pacing and biting their nails. We have a minute on the clock, But there's one thing in particular that caught my eye."You got it dixie!!!" She screams. I smile and look back at coach.
"Dixie we have no chance punt the ball and call it. We had a great season. You guys-"
"I'm doing a Hail Mary" I said. Everyone looked at me. Coach laughed at me for while till he noticed I was serious.
"Dix we can't throw a Hail Mary. We never practiced it, it's not gonna-"
"Coach I need you to trust me" he went silent for a while before looking around. He looked back at our assistant coach and they nodded. He turned back to me.
"Ok dixie I trust you." I nod my head and we run out to the field. I look towards my teammates and they nod at me.
"Ready!" I look at the coaches.
"Set!" I look my girlfriend.
Now or nothing
"Hike!"
