This part was not included prior writing this book which I commenced my Prologue somewhere in June 2020.

First of all, thank you for decided to visit my book. Regardless of its purpose, you came to visit. It means a lot to me  

I gained a couple of constructive feedbacks via 'All That Glitters Book Club' #ATGBC on my first few chapters and I realized that I should give you heads up on what you'd expect out of this book: -

1. The persona (first person view) of the story is just one person i.e. Sofia. It's basically a walk through of her life, memories, feelings, opinions of the events that occurred around her.

2. This is not a straightforward storyline kind of book. You will encounter a lot of flashbacks and flashforwards along the way. I'll mention on the year of the timeline at some chapters so you'll know whether the event takes place at present or current. If I don't mention any, it means that it's a continuation from the previous chapter.

3. Subsequent to the above, you'd notice some plots, place or a person were left hanging/unanswered. Fret not, you're not confused as you claimed to be. It means that your mind is thinking critically of the plot which makes you want to ask the 1H5W questions. Most of the answers would lie in later chapters, so hold on to that questions in your mind (if you have any) until answers come to you. Otherwise, feel free to ask at inline.

4. This story set primarily in Malaysia simply because this book is meant for a submission for a local novel contest of which one of it's requirements is go have the story predominantly set in Malaysia. A lot of elements relating to this country will be mentioned in this book i.e. its culture, language, religion, food, people, the whole nine yards. You will see some Malaysian words are mentioned but I will include translation next to it. Implicitly, I'm also showcasing my own country. I hope I could read your book or recommend me a book closely related to your country. I'd love to put that in my reading list.

5. Having said that, when cultures are being mentioned, elements of religion becomes inevitable. I'll try my best to make it generally accepted/understood by all readers to not complicate things as this book is meant for reading pleasure.

6. This book contains mature elements meaning there's profanity, sexual explicit content, a little bit of same sex crushes and all that adult stuff but only on certain chapters. I will mention at the beginning of its respective part when this happens.

7. This book is personal to me because some (or most) of its elements are based on my past memories including characters, locations and plots mentioned. They aren't as 100% as accurate, I tweak a bit but the inspiration of it comes from actual events, places, persons, items and alike. I even have to refer back to my old diaries because I can't remember what was high school life like back then, it was many years back. Yes, I had diaries and still keep the old ones. I know you do too.

8. Finally, I got to admit. This book is a slow book. Meaning, the characters don't jump right in and fall in love (Uh! Spoilers). It takes some time for the characters and plots to develop before reaching the pinnacle point of the story.

I hope you love this book as much as I love writing it. Please, I need to hear from you in terms of feedback if you have any. Because I wouldn't be able to see what my reader's see hence why it's skewed to a one-sided composition. 😅

P/S: - It's 1.00 am now. I need sleep. There's a meeting morning & it's going to be a dreadful one  🤢🤮 It's a good thing these directors don't do meetings at night.
