January 5th 1993

Lucy's POV:

Daddy is due to leave tomorrow to go back on tour, I've loved having him home it was amazing and was actually the longest it's been with him home. This is the final leg as far as I'm aware so he will be back in June/July I think I have no idea. So it's a new year, I know it's gonna be a good one. I was looking through some magazines and I seen La Toya so I go and look for daddy

"Daddy La Toya is back home, can we see her?" I smile

"I'm not sure sweetie"

I nod ok and leave, she's been on holidays for a really long time now.

Michael's POV:

I feel so bad lying to her, what father lies to their daughter saying their auntie is on holidays when in reality I'm not talking to her?

"Mike someone is at the gates requesting to see you" Stevie says

"Who?"

"La Toya......she says she's sorry and she wants to explain why she did it"

"Fine but make sure Lucy don't see her"

I go into the 2nd living room and wait, she comes in and sits down on the opposite couch.

"Michael I'm really sorry, I didn't wanna hurt you"

"But you did, we're family and you went against me on live television"

"He made me, I didn't wanna do it. He said if I didn't he would kill you. I only did it to protect you"

My eyes goes wide and she gets tears, I get up and go and sit by her

"Who?"

"Jack, he was gonna kill you if I didn't do it. He held this power over me. I feared that he really would kill you. It killed me inside knowing I went against you" she says and breaks down crying

I wrap my arms around her and hold her close

"I didn't want this Michael, I didn't want this life"

"What else have been happening? I know it's not just that"

"He controlled me, my whole life with him was controlled. It wasn't a happy marriage"

"Did he hurt you?" She nods yes and I hold her closer "how have you managed to get away?"

"I called Randy, he flew to New York and helped me to escape. Well helped us"

"Us?"

She pulls away and gets her keys handing me the keyring on them, it's a photo of her and a girl. I look at her confused.

"One good thing about Jack, he made sure my daughter wasn't known. Now I know why obviously but at the time I didn't"

"Daughter? Since when have you had a daughter?"

"She's the same age as Lucy"

"Did he hurt her?"

"No, she was mostly at his parents but I saw her regularly"

"What's her name?"

"Elnora"

"And where is she now?"

"At Randy's"

"Ok, I want you to go with 3 of the guards to get her then go shopping and get whatever you want, make sure you take Stevie so he can use my cards to pay then come back here ok?"

"Michael I got money"

"Just take it just in case, you'll be staying here where I know you'll be safe ok?"
