When he asked me that question, I had no idea how to respond in a way that he will feel at ease. Honestly, I am scared. Loving Blank is scaring me. I am afraid that time will come that not only my life would be in danger. What if dad's, too?

"Handa ka na ba?"

Heptane asked me. Mga bandang hatinggabi kami nagpasyang umuwi ng bahay. When I reached the house, she helped me pack my things.

"Do you think tama itong ginagawa ko?"

I asked her, feeling worried.

"Hindi."

Hexion, who was standing near my room's door answered.

"Bakit ka sasama sa lalakeng iyon? We both know wherever you guys go, saang butas man kayo magtatago, his mom will not let his son go— lalo na at ikaw ang kasama."

"Hexion." His sister called his name but Hex just shook his head. He was disappointed. I sighed.

"I agree with you, Hex."

Heptane stared back at me.

"No, Hept. He is right. I think nothing good will happen if we run away. His mom has many connections. Kilala sila saanmang dako ng mundo. Let's not forget that they are the Alfonzo's."

Heptane released a deep sigh and sat beside me on my bed.

"What are you planning, then?"

I played with my fingers. I don't know.

"For now, I will call Blank first."

Tumayo ako at kinuha ang cellphone sa mesa. The two left me and went downstairs.

I dialled Blank's phone number. This time, his number is already saved on my phone. He did it himself by the way.

"We're not going anywhere."

I said after he answered my call.

"What?"

He sounded a bit taken back.

"I want to meet your mother."

"Pentaliticia!"

He sounded pissed. I bit my lower lip and tried to calm down.

"Seryoso ako, Blank. Set me a meeting with her. I will go and talk to her."

"Hindi ka nya pakikinggan. I know her."

His voice sounded worried and at the same time confident.

"Please, Blank. Trust me on this one. We can't run away from her. Sabi mo nga, you know your mom. Dapat alam mo ring hindi natin sya matatakasan. She will not stop unless I put a stop on this."

'Pentaliticia—" he sighed. I heard his footsteps. He must be walking back and forth in his room. "Just wait for me there, okay?"

Umiling ako. I massaged my temple.

"I will go to your house. I will talk to her."

"Pentaliticia!"

He was mad.

"Don't you trust me?"

I sounded a bit disappointed.

"I do, but I don't trust my mom."

I sighed. Napaupo ako sa kama.

"I am not going anywhere, Blank. Please. Let me do this one. Kailangan kong kausapin ang mama mo. This is the only way I can do to at least stop her from ruining us."
