When your mom walks in she is carrying a handful of bags and trying to balance her phone call against her shoulder. She tells the person on the other end that she'll see them soon and lets the phone drop to the counter
Indiana: *walking in carrying another load of groceries* "Is this the last of it?"
Mom: "Yes thank you, sweetheart. You two can go hang out, I've got this. But be down in an hour because Noah and his parents are coming for dinner"
You race Indy upstairs and she is pushing for details of your afternoon before the door even shuts.
Indiana: "tell me EVERYTHING"

You: "There's nothing to tell. We made out... same as always"
Indiana: "Y/N... do you even really like him?"
Before you can answer, your dad calls upstairs to tell you company is early. You find Noah sitting on your couch and are suddenly very glad Blake didn't stay

Mom: "What happened to Blake? I thought we were finally going to get to know him tonight?"
Noah: "You've been dating for how long and he still hasn't met your parents?"
You: *sign in frustration* "First of all they have met. Secondly, not my boyfriend. Just a friend... like you."
Noah: *mumbling* "Wasn't aware we kissed our friends"
Indiana: *remembering the spin the bottle game* "Really, Noah? I can name the date of when you thought differently."
You jump in to defuse the conversation before the cardinal rule of spilling secrets in front of parents is broken
Noah's Mom: "Noah, I remember the day you made your dad and I come all the way over thinking it was an emergency only to find you and Y/N had set up a whole pretend wedding in this very living room"

Noah: "We were like 7 and we are just friends so you can probably hold off on calling the caterer"
There's those words again slicing you like a knife: 'just friends'. After dinner, Indiana has already gone home and Noah's mom hands him her credit card and suggests you two go get ice cream so everyone can make sundaes.
