A month has passed and you and Noah haven’t gotten a single moment alone. Both your and his parents have avoided leaving you alone and make excuses to keep you downstairs or to pop in every 15 minutes. The only time you get with each other besides that are car rides when he brings you home from school and if you sit there long enough to even steal a few kisses, your mom is blowing up your phone.

Indiana and Blake are closer than ever and it’s not nearly as weird as you thought it would be especially seeing how crazy about each other they are. You and Indiana are sitting at the kitchen counter while your mom makes dinner and your mom interrupts.

Mom: “So prom is soon, you’re going aren’t you?”
You: “I don’t know. Noah hasn’t asked me, but it’s only Junior Prom. We always have next year”
Indiana: “It’s kinda assumed when you’re dating that the guys don’t make a big deal of officially asking I think, but I hope Blake wants to go. Do you think I could borrow one of your old dresses? My mom will never buy me a prom dress”
Mom: “Why don’t you girls let me take you shopping and buy you both a dress”
You rush upstairs to call Dixie and invite her to come with you guys and you hear your mom tell Indiana: “I know you don’t want me to buy you a dress, but you’re like a daughter to me and I’d really like to share this with you”
You pick up Dixie and head to the mall with your mom. Dixie falls in love with the first dress she tries on and walks away to call her mom and ask if she can buy it. Indiana takes her time settling on a dress that looks amazing on her. She’s still unsure and you try to convince her it’s the one.

Addison: “You should definitely get that one. You look gorgeous”

Addison just so happens to be dress shopping at the same store as you all and took the opportunity to make peace. Indiana is stunned and doesn’t know how to respond so just ekes out: “Thank you”
You smile at Addison knowing that it took a lot for her to try to make nice after Indiana tried to steal her boyfriend, but her and Bryce were better than ever so it was time to bury the bad feelings… especially because you and Addison had gotten a lot closer lately. At the next store you fall in love with the last dress you try on and your mom doesn’t hesitate to take it to the counter before you change your mind.
You drop Dixie and Indiana off at their houses and your mom gets a phone call and sends you in to help Indiana carry her stuff up to her apartment. When you get back your mom seems to be stalling and asks you to go get something to eat before heading home
