"He actually saw you?"

"Yes. My baby brother saw my husband flogging me. He hasn't spoken to me since." Savannah sighed while Kim took a total different reaction and burst into laughter. "Hey! It's not funny!"

Kimberly attempted to speak through her laughter. "For starters, he's a grown man, stop calling him a baby. Secondly, that's on you. You gotta be more careful."

"I didn't know he was gonna walk in!" Savannah whined.

The blonde put the remaining dish away. "Stop being such a baby, Cole's walked in on Robert and I having sex." She shrugged.

Savannah's gaze shot to Kimberly. "What?"

"What?" Kimberly eyebrows raised. "Sounds like I'm needed in the living room." She takes with a nervous smile before heading for the living room leaving her best friend in utter confusion.

"Don't try lie your way out of this." Savannah followed after her friend of 30 years.

"Have you ever considered dying your grey hairs?" Arabella questioned her father. The two were cuddled up on the large armchair just as they did every Sunday afternoon. They not long ate lunch that Kimberly has made for the family with the help of Jenkin and were now watching the pacifier.

"I think they look good, do you not?" Robert questioned while ruffling his hair.

"You'll look younger if they weren't grey." Ari shuffled slightly to get more comfortable, her legs over her fathers lap, a blanket over the two to keep them warm. They had done this same thing since Ari was four. The two had forever been close.

"Do we know what time we're supposed to be going for dinner tonight?" Kimberly entered the living room and took a seat on the lounge besides the armchair where her husband and daughter both sat.

"Scott said he'd text me when he has it all booked." Robert shrugged.

"He hasn't even booked it yet?" Savannah entered the room, brows furrowed with a bottle of water in her hand.

"Apparently not." Just as Robert answered a ping from his phone could be heard. He attempted to reach for it from his seat, but the coffee table was too far. He moved his daughters legs and the blanket before leaving forward out of his chair slightly and grabbing the device.

"Uh, Rob?" Savannah mumbled.

"Yeah?" He looked to Savannah, slight confusion on his face.

"Umm...Ari-"

"Oh my god! Pa, I'm so sorry!" Arabella jumped from her seat and covered her mouth in shock.

"What's wrong?" Robert looked down at the seat and saw a red stain in the grey couch, as well as his grey sweatpants. Arabella had gotten her period and where she had been sitting so close to her father, her legs over his she had gotten it on both him and the chair. "Ohh." Robert mumbled and stood from his seat to check the chair.

"I'm so so sorry Pa, I didn't mean to." Arabella is her face in embarrassment.

Robert shook his head and hugged his daughter, leaving a kiss on her forehead. "It's okay, Princess. It's not your fault. I'll fix it, don't worry."

"Mum it's really bad." Ari whined. Ari has been like her mother, and grandmother Lucy, had a heavy flow and she couldn't help but be embarrassed of it.

Kimberly rose from her seat and scurried up to Ari's room to get sanitary towels and a clean pair of underwear and sweats for her daughter.

Savannah had gone to get cleaning products for the couch while Arabella awkwardly stood in the centre of her living room having no idea what to do, or how to help.

Robert turned to his daughter to remind her once again that it was okay and a pure accident. "Just to be safe..." Robert mumbles before picking up his daughter and turning her upside down, into a handstand against the wall. "Just incase of drippings." He nervous laughed.

"I'm still sorry." Ari whined.

"You don't have to be sorry." Robert shook his head and pulled off his sweatpants, leaving him in a t-shirt and boxers.

Savannah came back moments later with products the clean the couch with and Robert requested she threw the sweats into the washer which she nodded her head to and ran to the laundry room.

"Okay, baby I- What're you doing?" Kimberly stood with her eyebrows furrowed at her daughter.

"Pa did it."

Kimberly looked at her husband with a confused yet judging look on her face. "What? We have white carpets, I thought to be safe." Robert shrugged.

Kimberly stood staring at her husband, mouth fallen agape in silence as she repeated blinked at the stupidity. "She's not a leaky tap."

"Well what else should she have done?"

"Oh I don't now, maybe gone to the bathroom." Kimberly shook her head in disbelief.

"Well how was I supposed to know that?" Robert crossed his arms over his chest.

"You didn't used to flip me upside down did you?!"

"Uh... Guys?" Arabella caught her parents attention.

"Oh," Kimberly rushed to her daughter who came down from the handstand her father put her in. "Mumma will run you a bath okay? don't you worry about anything, we'll fix it."

Just as the mother and daughter left, Savannah appeared back to help clean the couch. "You handled that well." Savannah praised Robert.

"So you agree the handstand was a good-"

"Not at all." Savannah cut Robert off with a shake of the head. "I mean by not making her feel embarrassed about it."

"But it isn't something to be ashamed of." Robert raised his brows in confusion.

"As girls were tend to be taught that its disgusting and even shameful. I remember my father for one wouldn't be able to sit in the same room as my mother and I when I spoke about it. Oh, and God forbid he saw anything, pads and tampons weren't allowed in the bathroom and if I ever leaked through I'd get shouted at and told I was disgusting. it wasn't any different for my Mum either actually, he used to sleep on the couch when it was her time." Savannah explained with a shrug of her shoulders. Savannah couldn't help but feel proud of Robert as he was kneeled besides the couch scrubbing the stain out of the couch.

"But it if it wasn't for periods then he would never have had you and your two siblings." Robert didn't grow up with sisters, only a mother who didn't tell her sons such things women had to deal with simply because they aren't girls. He didn't know that women were so ashamed of something that was so natural. Quite frankly the thought of shaming his own daughter for something she couldn't help made him feel more sick than any period could ever.

What is wrong with men.
