[November 15 2015]
"Good morning, my mouse", her dear mother shook her body in the most gentle way possible, patiently waiting for her reaction of opening her eyes. It was Prudence's big day, not graduation, not having gotten a raise, no. Just a normal birthday, a day reoccurring once every year, chronologically. Yet, birthdays meant big to her. Those were the only days all year she received the in her eyes appropriate amount of attention, a factor which was truly lacking throughout each season. Her parents did love her, no doubt, but they both had well paid 8/5 jobs, leaving Prudence with little to no attention per day. A tough step in her opinion but being such enormously clingy child, who was she to say something? Speaking facts, her brain cells just grew up to be in high demand of social activity, truly a born extrovert. Either way, could any parents interacting with common sense let their 11 year old daughter randomly go out with friends? At that young age? Not in their vision, a move which theft all her social capacity.

The first picture Prudence encountered after opening her eyes was her beloved mother smiling right in her face, hugging her a 'happy birthday' as beginning of the day. Pru's naturally pale cheeks glowed over to a cute rosy tone.

In the late evening that very day, dad made the move to ask if she had any interest in taking a sip of alcohol since his current activity has been chilling with a glass of champagne. Is it worth considering champagne an alcoholic beverage? Ignoring that thought, he offered her his glass and eagerly watched her nib on the corner. Her entire fragile body shook off, indicating pure disgust. Apparently, she seemed to not be the biggest fan of alcohol, what is very acceptable and expected at her age. "I don't want to ever try this again, ew", she stated, desperately wiping off all remains on her tongue.

Later that evening, a cool atmosphere, Pru asked if she could throw a little party in the House's integrated disco which her household was lucky enough to own. As they spilled out a "No" she hadn't imagined any more confusing response than anything regarding her age. To her unpleasant surprise, mom had a different reply stored.

"I will need as much peace as possible from now on. I'm in my fifth month of pregnancy"

In all honesty, Pru has just imagined she had gotten fatter over time. Life struck her hard that evening, turning from good to bad just like the ordinary light switch. In all shock but maturity, pru stuttered some words "Mom, not to bash you or anything but.....argh, you don't even manage to spend time with me so how will you be able to be with my sibling?". Both parts were genuinely impressed by her mature and well thought out question, yet it obviously wasn't one they had asked themselves as mom turned upset and called her a jealous brat. Prudence, on the other hand, wasn't offended at all, much rather worried about the future.

Prudence, now close to reaching a whole 16 years of life, was getting ready in the bathroom, jamming to one of her favorite songs called "Alcohol", almost tripping with her mascara. Instant focus got activated, finally focusing on her eye make-up again. Over all those years she hadn't received any piece of her parent's attention or love, resulting in her searching those emotions within other people. At 15 she managed to accidentally slide into the Korean hip hop community by releasing a song which bombed charts on the other side of the planet. Correct, she became a master in languages. And music. And dance. And generally everything else. Right as the song ended her phone began vibrating, almost moving off the shelf. Catching it in the last second, she picked up the call. Her boyfriend, (Bias), was on the other side. That guy who sang "Alcohol". That pretty famous Korean artist. Along with her he buzzed the charts every month of the year. "Yeah, I'll be on time, chill. I know what to do. This ain't my first party, babe", she replied to his question if she's gonna be punctual. Right now she was getting ready for another party, much like every weekend and occasionally in between. Was this the way she searched the attention and love she had been craving? Yes. Has she become that kind of person she had always hated? Maybe.
