OPINIONS FROM THE CAPITOL

velvet, logan, veronica, augustus, and sydney are the top five character favorites so far. so far, it looks like velvet is the one the Capitol admired the MOST due to looks, skills, and her sadistic passion for the Hunger Games. veronica is another favorite in another big portion of the capitol for her brutality and her status as the tribute with the most kills, but after her injury, some people are losing faith in her. many ship her and velvet, and nicknamed the two, "the power team" or "the golden duo."

augustus is another favorite, very admired in the Capitol and back at the districts NOT only for his bravery, his skill, and his good looks, but the twists in his plot of the hunger games— the change of heart— and many were a little perplexed and confused as well as to why he was being a little more gentle and compassionate towards the non career tributes, ESPECIALLY DOMINIC. some say he lost his taste in adventure, but many are still lying in wait to see what's next.

sydney also has a lot of potential and a very scary edge to him, as the Capitol soon noticed just from the first two days. they really want to see a battle between the small twelve year old knife warrior, and the eighteen year old sadistic, scary career tribute from one. from the looks of it, the Capitol are amused that velvet has such a strong hate and envy towards sydney.

many of the Capitol citizens still dislike dominic, but even they can't deny how good and clever he is when it comes to close combat, and how he doesn't seem to fight reluctantly... until the end. they wait on to see what happens next, but none of them think of sponsoring him yet. some do are beginning to sympathize with or admire him.

eirwen is okay to the Capitol, but they don't know much about him yet. they do want to see him display his talent of sneakiness to other tributes later on, as that is the one thing they all admire.

penny and daphne are considered the "lower end" of the career pack, both due to their lack of a "good" choice of weapon and their lack of experience like the other career tributes. they were impressed with daphne as she made her kill with a slingshot and many began to realize she has just as much skill and smarts as most of the careers. when she died, however, they applauded it like most, and were pleased with penny and how she dealt with the scene.

raymond is now considered a huge disappointment.
