As soon as Dylan was out of sight, i turned around to see Emma unlocking the reception door.  "Morning Elissa" she said to  me as i approached her.  "Hey" i replied.

"How you feeling today?"

"A bit better, thanks" I said as we went inside. "So, what was that all about?" she asked curiously.

"Oh, what with Dylan?, nothing...just me and my big mouth...and i caused an argument" she smirked. "Guys these days." i couldn't help but laugh as well.  She sat on the front desk chair and turned on the computer. "Hey, um I was wondering if you know i could help out... here if possible."

"Yeah, sure. It's not really my place to say, but I'm sure Norma wouldn't mind."

Oh...yeah she wouldn't mind...she probably only hates my guts.

"Wouldn't mind what?" i heard someone say from behind me. i turned around and saw Norma was in the room as well.

"Oh, um morning Mrs Bates. I was wondering if i could you know help out here?"

She sighed, and then nodded and then walked into the other room.

ok... that was way too easy.  "Emma, will tell you what you can do. I have to leave but I'll be back in a bit." She said grabbing her car keys and purse.

"Ok bye Mrs Bates" Emma said and she rushed out.  I watched as she drove off in a hurry.

"So, I guess if you want to help out, those boxes over there are full of papers which need filing" she said pointing at the three boxes. One large box was sitting on top of a chair, while the other two beside it on the floor. I nodded and grabbed the first box and got to work.

After several hours later of organising the papers, I had just finnished sorting out the last set of papers which needed filing, when I heard a car pull over. I looked up only to see Dylan parking his truck. I rolled my eyes.

"All done" I said to Emma, as I picked up the boxes and placed them on the counter.  "Thanks!" she replied. I turned around and saw Dylan heading towards our direction. "Hey, I'm gonna head out for a bit" I said facing Emma. She just nodded, her eyes glued onto the computer screen. "Thanks for your help" she said while I turned around to go. Just as I was about to leave Dylan came in.
