D4C part 1

The blonde boy excitingly rushed towards the stairs , ready to run up to Y/n and be spoiled with hugs and praises by her . The boy  stood at the bottom of the stairs and saw the girl . She was just standing there , hands on her hips in a menacing way and a shadow covering her face . Naruto perked up with a growing blush just by the mentioning of her name .

Naruto stood silent as he watched Y/n open her arms as if expecting a hug " You did excellent Naruto ! Come here !" Ah , there it is . Her soft  angelic voice that he adored so much .  The shadow cleared showing the perfect features of the girl who had a heart melting smile on her green lips .

Naruto grinned before running up the stairs several times but each time he did , he always ended up at the bottom of the stairs . The boy frowned as he tried several more times but the results were the same , him at the bottom and Y/n at the top with arms stretched out for a hug and a smile on her face .

While Y/n kept her outside composure the same , inside she and DIO were cackling like maniacs which made Polnareff give her a headache . As much as she wanted to do this all day , matches were waiting for her . The girl watched as Naruto came rushing into her arms and hugging back tightly. Y/n spun him around while showering him with compliments and kisses on the cheeks and forehead and making their way towards the others .

" What the heck is that guy doing? Is he planning to come ?"  Shikamaru mumbled while glancing down .

" Confucious said ' The wise do not approach the dangerous. '   A wise decision perhaps ?" Shino spoke in his usual calm voice .

Sakura looked up in the sky with a fake dreamy face and sighed " Ah imagine  ' Sasuke the wise. '  That's a nightmare I don't wanna see . "

Y/n sighed  " If we continue like this , might as well open a Sasuke hate club  "

Naruto grinned slightly " What are you talking about ? He's definitely going to come !" The boy glanced towards Gaara ' If you don't show up soon , you'll be disqualified !... But what's taking so long ...'

" Hay ! What's up with the match ?! "

" Isn't Uchiha here , yet ?!"

" Ladies and gentlemen ! The contestant for the next match hasn't arrived yet ! Therefore we will push this match back and begin the next one ! Kankuro and Shino Aburama !  Come down !!"

' Phew ... Thank goodness '

" Hey , this means my match just got one closer !"

" And now , the next match ! Kankuro and Shino Aburama!! Come down !!"

" I forfeit "

Gemma sighed "  Alright then . Sakura Haruno your match be changed and you will go up against Shino Aburame after Y/n Vs Hayato and Temari vs Shikamaru . Y/n L/n and Hayato Shakadere please come down and let your match begin !!"

" I can't believe I have to fight a hottie ... Ugh " The L/n girl jumped and placed her legs in a lotus position as she slowly made her way down . The pink haired male eyes the girl and completely ignored the gasps and shocked comments coming from the crowd.

" Well , I didn't think it would end like this . It was nice knowing and reading all those Hayato memes . " The girl faked a disappointed expression as a sad sigh escaped her green lips . Y/n crossed her arms "  You're somehow related to Sara , right ? Well then , I expect a good fight ."

Hayato nodded and a scowl placed itself on his usually calm features .  The boy launched himself at the girl , aiming a punch at her stomach to which she just dodged it  .

" Tell your little friend to forfeit already . She's got no chance against Hayato " Temari smirked as she watched Hayato and Y/n engage in a taijutsu battle .

Sakura scoffed and narrowed her eyes at the sand kunoichi " You haven't noticed , have you ? " Sakura looked down at Y/n " There , you notice the small light coming from Y/n's back . Her full concentration is on creating and perfecting the object she plans to uses. That's why she's holding back  and dodging the attacks from your teammate "

A small thud silenced the arena as everyone stared frightened ." Give up . Without one arm you are at a disadvantage "  Hayato narrowed his blue eyes towards Y/n , who stared at her chopped off arm. The h/c haired girl shrugged her shoulder/ shoulders and looked at the boy " Tis but a scratch "  He could only stared puzzled at the girl who simply looked unbothered.

" You're putting your life and your shinobi career on the line , so just give up . There's always next year." Y/n hung her head low , shadow and bangs covering her eyes . The girl clenched her hand " I-i ..... I understand.... But ... But I refuse ."

Y/n grabbed her chopped of arm and launched at Hayato . The boy panicked before regaining his position and launching the katana in his hands at Y/n who simply dodged and jumped back , landing on all fours with a smirk on her face .

A blanket , no a flag flew out of her back , completely covering the girl . The flag had 13 stripes in red white with a dark blue rectangular that was seated at the top left and had 50 stars in it . Hayato patiently waited for her to make a move but she just stood there , covered by the flag . Hayato gripped the katana and launched at the girl , immediately attack through the flag .

" YYYYYYYYYYYY/NNNNNNN-CHHHAAAN!!"
