Avalanche

Spencer POV

Ali said we would have to get Em out of the nurses office before an ambulance was called. Which is confusing because she needs to be treated. I pulled Alison aside from the crowd surrounding us.

"Ali how do you expect to get her out of there?"

"Spencer punch me in the nose." Ali said

"What? No Ali not a good idea. How about we try to get the nurse out of there." Then Aria walked over all bug eyed. I turned toward her.

"Aria I'm going to need you to yell for the nurse. Im going to 'pass out'. I will try to keep the nurse distracted for a few minutes." Aria nodded. I turned toward Ali. She was pacing back and forth.

"You need to go stand by the nurses office. When the nurse runs out, you run in and if Ems still unconscious, which she shouldn't still be but if she is, try to get her up. When your out meet me behind the school. You ready?" Aria and Alison nodded. "Go." Alison took off and i fell to the floor. Aria started yelling and i heard the clicks of high heels against the floor.

Emily POV

Everything's dark i feel like I'm running but I'm not moving. Like those dreams where your fighting someone but you barely move and they end up hurting you. Then i felt an avalanche start. My eyes open and my head is throbbing. There was someone in front of me but my vision was blurry.

"I feel drunk." i mumbled

"Em we have to go right now." Someone said softly. The voice echoed in my head.

"Who are you?" My vision started clearing but it wasn't great. The person paused.

"Im Alison. Emily we really have to go." Alison sounded so familiar, then everything clicked and my vision was clear. She grabbed my hand and we left the room. There's something going on to the right of us but, Ali ignored it and brought me outside.

"Ali what was that?"

She looked relieved. "You remember who i am. Thank god."

"Of course i do. But seriously what was going on in there?"

"Spencer faked passing out in the hall so i could get you out of the nurses office. The nurse was probably going to call an ambulance and then you would've been looked up in the hospitals system. You should know the rest..." She stopped and leaned up against the brick wall.

"Yeah... Thanks Ali." I kissed her cheek. She stood up straight and hugged me. I hugged back.

"No Em don't thank me. Thank you. That crazy bitch was going to stab me and you stepped right in front of the blade. You could've died. I hope you realize that."

"Hope is a dirty four letter word." I turned toward the voice. This is.... Spencer and the tiny ones Aria.

"You got out. Great!" Ali said giddily.

"We should be in some trouble tomorrow... actually a whole bunch of trouble." Aria said

"Yeah well at least everyones alright." Ali said. I nodded along with the other two girls.

"We all should head out before we get caught." Alison said

"Yeah my heads still feeling pretty groggy." Who am i kidding my head was throbbing.

"Get some rest Em." Spencer added. Aria turned away and began walking towards her car. As well as Spencer. Then Ali and i started walking towards hers.

"Okay."

Alison POV

Emily seemed different. Her whole mindset was just not her. Maybe she just needs some rest. The drive home was completely silent. I pulled up to the apartment and got out of the car. Emily followed. She didn't run up the steps like she usually did. I sighed and unlocked the door. Emily walked in and went into the bedroom. I followed, watching her every movement. She gazed at me and flopped onto the bed. Which made me giggle. As she did too.

"Your giggles really cute." she mumbled.

"Your really cute." I added

"I know." Emily said. Which made me laugh.

"Im gonna go clean up. Get some rest."

"But Ali, I want a snuggle buddy." She whined

"But Em you need to rest. So your noodle feels better." I mocked

She laughed. "Noodle... thats a funny word."

"Well i guess ill just go to sleep then." she sighed. Hopefully she'll be okay when she wakes up...
